We had won the last two vs them and we are pretty evenly matched teams I think so we just got them swinging and we were below par and the one moment in the game when it looked like we had wrestled the momentum we made a monumental mistake. Exactly. It was 21-10 and we had the ball at midfield, when Brady had his WTF moment. If we play "normal" football at that point the game could have very well gone in a different direction. I don't think that W4 result is at all indicative of what might happen down the road in the playoffs. 1 Quote

I was at a Halloween party so only kept one eye on the game (with no sound), but when I was watching I just thought how bad both teams looked. Good teams do not need favorable calls since they do not help parity. Quote

I wouldn't be shocked if we played them and lost again, but I wouldn't be shocked if we won either. Two well coached, talented football teams with explosive generational type playmakers (in different ways) at Quarterback. Houston on the other hand I'd be genuinely surprised if we played them again, somewhat healthy, and lost again. 3 4 Quote

In the Ravens game, we were missing our entire middle of the field on defense if I remember correctly. Not to mention we lost Shakir in the 2nd quarter? Keon seems to be maturing on the field as well and I would believe he would be more of a difference maker in that game. 1 Quote
Beck Water Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Well that was a sucky game. Texans got jobbed by the refs a couple times, but also Stroud.....well, he was supposed to be the Next Great Thing at QB. Shows how that can be derailed by crap pass protection and lack of open targets to throw to, though I thought he was pressing and looking too much downfield and wonder if the all-22 would show open targets underneath. Anyway, disappointed in the outcome of the game (wanted to see Rodgers lose) even though it's supposedly better for the Bills that the Jets win. Now I'm wondering if I misheard, but I was pretty sure I heard the announcers talking as though the Bills were the only team left on the Jets schedule that they had to worry about, which is very puzzling to me. When you're a 3-6 team, you probably need to worry about 4-4 teams like AZ, Colts, and Seahawks; Rams are only one win back on their entire division having had an early bye; and, I don't think we ought to count out the Dolphins. So I found that puzzling. Texans looked like they better figure something out quick on offense though. 1 Quote

No surprises Quote

ticketssince61 Posted November 1 Posted November 1 That was an awesome catch. Not sure if I missed something but it looked like his "Both feet" were the left foot 2x. Everyone focused on the "shin" It looks like the right foot did no come down until his left was totally out of bounds. Quote

I thought that too, but even if it’s the same leg anything other than the foot would count. The shin definitely touched before the knee went out, so that counts as a foot + another body part. 1 Quote

Thanks for the clarification that is helpful (and very obscure) Really surprising that this was not mentioned on the broadcast - there had to have been other people thinking the same thing Quote
