Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 1 Posted November 1 That catch by Wilson was crazy good. They should change the catch rule to include two taps with the same foot. Its crazy that I’ve never seen 2 taps with the same foot that I can remember before last week but I’ve seen it twice in a week now. 1 1 1 Quote
BillsfaninSB Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Good night for the Bills. Jets help Buffalo and fall in the draft. They will lose to the Cardinals. Quote

Remember the narrative about Stefon Diggs wanting to go to Houston because they have a better chance at winning a Super Bowl? Stroud was pressured bad and not having Diggs or Collins hurt for sure. But he took some inexcusable sacks and fumbled the football in the red zone. He also completed like 50% of his passes. Between this game and the game against Buffalo (with the exception of Q1), I’m not too impressed with any facet of the Texans football team. They’ll probably still win the AFC South and Collins will probably help the offense. But I don’t see the team coming anywhere near the lofty expectations set in the preseason. if it wasn’t for the Herculanianly stupid start of Richardson by Indy in what was a must win game for them the Texans would now be in second place in the division. Still can’t believe they did that. Edited November 1 by dollars 2 donuts 2 Quote
Doc Brown Posted November 1 Posted November 1 15 minutes ago, GunnerBill said: There is no chance of this. Probably not. Through eight weeks this year only the Chiefs have lost less than two games. Asking for 7-1 is a stretch and 6-2 gets you to 9-8 which probably doesn't qualify you for the playoffs. Plus, the run defense of the Jets isn't improving anytime soon and the o-line isn't good enough to protect a slow quarterback. 1 Quote

Their offense still stinks. What happened last night is the D played better that it has but on a short week at home against a team down 2 of its top playmakers. I honestly didn't see anything that changes my view that they are a broken team. Garret Wilson will win them a couple of games a season with circus catches. He did against us there last season. It isn't a sustainable way to try and win. 1 Quote

I also saw that Anthony Richardson has the lowest completion % for a starting QB since JP Losman. It seems patently obvious that a dude named Losman was never gonna be a winner… WE LOVE YOU JOSH ALLEN Quote

They played a good team without their two best receivers, where their kicker missed two field goals. i think they lose to the cardinals, us, and rams at a minimum Quote

The only team they are “better” than is the Jags. The Colts with Flacco is a better team than the Jets. Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 1 Posted November 1 How was that Wilson TD a catch last night but the Pickens one with the same foot down twice wasn’t? Quote

They don’t seem comparable at all? Wilson’s entire shin hit in bounds. A shin or forearm has always been equivalent to a knee or elbow. 3 Quote
Back2Buff Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Adams, Wilson and Rodgers got going in the 2nd half. Jets are far from over. They have a very easy schedule coming up. I don't know why anyone was rooting for them tonight. 1 1 Quote

If we both get in, I would choose to face the Jets over the Texans in the playoffs, all thinks being equal with health. If I had any fear the Jets could pass this Bills team I would never pull for the division opponent but I don't think they have any chance to jump us. Quote

Rodgers is gonna be lucky to make it through the season, let alone lead his team to 6+ more victories to somehow squeak into the playoffs. Beating a banged up Texans team at home on a short week does not mean they’re good all of a sudden. Quote
Charles Romes Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I’m rooting for the Jets to have just over the threshold number of wins needed for running it all back next year. 1 Quote
