Nobody was open anywhere, I think there were double-digit throwaways from Allen. And they still almost won. The major difference is Allen took one sack while Stroud took eight. Some of them were just awful making life difficult on the kicker. Plus the fumble lost. 1 Quote

At best they can get to is 9-8. There are 2 losses guaranteed minimum on their schedule. They will probably lose at Arizona next week. Flacco is QB for the Colts. Seattle is no gimme. Miami twice. Rams. At Jacksonville. And at Buffalo. The Texans are a shell of themselves on offense. Edited November 1 by Big Blitz Quote

BuffaloRebound Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Houston’s best pass rusher not playing in the 2nd half had big effect. Houston had to blitz to get pressure leaving Lassiter and Pitre 1v1 on Adams and Wilson. They got cooked more often than not. 1 1 Quote

I think Fairborn made one and missed the other. Much like Josh I think CJ was trying to overcompensate due to bad pass pro and underwhelming WR’s. But he was still bad Quote
Billznut Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) Jets did what they had to in the second half, made some plays finally and got a much needed win. That said, they are 3-6. They will lose at least 2 more along the line. At best they will be 9-8. Possibly they slide into the 7 seed. Not worried about them going on the road in January and knocking someone off. Big Blitz Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I’m already penciling in the Ravens/Steelers as a WC team. Then the Chargers. The Bengals. Maybe Indy - they have a game with the Jets. If the Broncos get to 9-8 and tie with the Jets the Broncos are in. Same if Jets tie with Pittsburgh. Jets really can’t lose more than 1 more game. But yea a 9-8 team is probably going to get in this year in the AFC. There are 5 AFC teams with just 2 wins at the moment. I’m not laying this out bc I think the Jets could be a problem - far from it. Just a prediction how I think the AFC shapes up. Quote

We saw what happened to Cincy and Baltimore when their QB’s went down. Quote

Guffalo Posted November 1 Posted November 1 This game was a win-win for me, If the Jets do their normal meltdown, I get to hear the wailing of Jets fans about their team. If Houston loses, we are ahead of themI for a bit. I'm either going to listen to complaining of Jets fans (awesome) or hear them pontificate that this is the beginning of the new era, Either way, they will crash and burn, and I am happy. 1 Quote
