stevestojan Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 In what world is that a ***** TD? Shin before knee? GTFOH 1 1 Quote
Dick_Cheney Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Not even a matter of an inch there. Crazy that it wouldn’t be a touchdown if his foot had hit twice, but since it was 2cm higher and hit his shin, it was a TD. Eventually we’ll run out of crazy scenarios where we ask “Was that a catch?” Eventually they’ll have all happened. Like the thing about 1000 monkeys banging on typewriters for eternity eventually creating Shakespeare. 1 Quote
stuvian Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) How can that be a catch when Pickens catch for the Steelers wasn't? Edited November 1, 2024 by stuvian Quote
T.E. Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 There was nothing to show that his shin hit in bounds before his knee clearly hit out-of-bounds. A small market team wouldn't have gotten that call in a million years. 2 1 Quote
dma0034 Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 OBJ catch is better but man they look similar Quote

DapperCam Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Feels like Stroud has an INT in him still… 1 Quote
Mikie2times Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 People, the shin has always been equal to a player being down. It's not a new rule. You usually only see it applied on determining if a runner is down. Not if he is inbounds. But it can be used that way as well. 1 1 Quote
Nelius Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 I liked Tank about as much as Nico Collins this offseason. Loaded offense, just don’t believe in CJ Quote
thenorthremembers Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) Maybe the Texans will roll the 2nd safety over to Wilson's side now. You're in a two high shell and get beat deep embarassing Edited November 1, 2024 by thenorthremembers Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Say what you want about the train horn, but it's way better than the announcer lamely intoning, "Iiiiiits thirrrrrrrrrrrd downnnnnnnnn...." 1 Quote

T.E. Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) Man, it's really hard to believe that there isn't some directive to the officials to make sure an NYC team with a huge star stays relevant. That last drive was officiated like a WWE match. Edited November 1, 2024 by T.E. 1 Quote
