Taro Nimbus Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Don’t care if the Texans have a game up on the bills with half a season to go. I want the Jets to lose. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing that train wreck. Quote
Udubalum07 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I agree with the win- win either way. I'm just happy one of them will lose. I feel like I will root for the jets, but also kind of hype buffalo breaks the all time record in earliest to clinch a division. They have a great shot to go another game up on everybody. Quote
SoCal Deek Posted October 31 Posted October 31 We want the Texans to lose ….obviously. There is no chance the Jets will contend for the Division and NY needs something to cheer them up after the Yankees meltdown. 😉 1 Quote
benderbender Posted October 31 Posted October 31 The best case scenario would be for the Jets to go on a couple game win streak and build up their confidence. That way when the wheels really come off, it will be theatre. 1 Quote

I guess you hope they lose one of their remaining divisional games, maybe in Denver, and then hopefully the Texans or Steelers find a way to beat them. It's hard to see them ending the season any worse than 14-3 and even that record is assuming we beat them. the steelers are playing the most complete football right now. all facets, special teams, defense, and offense... all 3 are firing. they're a solid team. GolfandBills Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) I want the Texans to lose tonight then Jets lose the rest of their games Edited October 31 by GolfandBills 2 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted October 31 Posted October 31 As much as I don’t want to see the Texans win. It’s always fun watching the Jets circus burn to the ground. 1 Quote
Nelius Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I'm still not buying CJ Stroud as top tier and think he's taken a step back but god I hate Rodgers so much. I think the Diggs news makes it okay to root for Houston just tonight, I don't think they're a legit conference leader 1 Quote

This is where I am- love watching this ship sink - and when it does it's sunk for an extended period of time- I'm also alright with a tie- I may even favor a tie- because ties end up being bad for both side late in the season Edited October 31 by BlazinBill Quote

The Texans capture a 3rd loss, we are able to inch closer to #2 or maybe #1 seed, and the Jets are going nowhere. Let them have some emotional win as the Texans have lost temporarily their main WR’s, so they are somewhat vulnerable. If the Jets defense can do this job, maybe they can make it hard on the Texans. It’s a toss up, but the hope is give the Texans a loss. The Ravens loss was a gift from the Browns. Quote
dma0034 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I want the Jets to finish like 8-9 and then try to run it back next year because "they figured it out". I would love an off-season of Jets talk. Well after 2-6 they went 6-3 and really looked better.... they'll probably win the AFC East this year for sure. Give me one more year of Rodgers just driving the bus over everyone. Next year: it's the stadiums fault for a loss, fans, weather, Democrats weather machine, media, God. I only hope they hire Mike McCarthy. Quote
RunTheBall Posted October 31 Posted October 31 There’s a lot of football left to be played. I’d like to see Houston win and see the Jets buried. I can’t stand that team or the constant hype they get every single season. I’m not worried about the Texans. Stroud is coming back down to earth (he’s still very very good) but defensive coordinators are starting to figure him out. The Texans are going to drop a few games before the end of the year. We need to clamp the division down first so and I want to laugh at Rogers and Jets fans when they lose again. Quote
BearNorth Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Just wondering if the AFC East has ever been this weak. Other than the Bills, the other 3 teams are currently projected to win 4 [Miami], 3 [Jets] and 2[ Pats] games barring any drastic event happening to their opponents. Quote
MasterStrategist Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Too much football to play, to be rooting for Jets right now. Injuries, etc-season can change real quick. Houston is already weakened. Bury the Jets and take down Miami on Sunday. Then we can start having more of these conversations. 1 Quote
DCofNC Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Jets, if only bc it gives them hope and gets them to piss away more assets at the deadline. 2 Quote

FieldGeneral Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I despise Rodgers. Whining about not having enough yet he won back to back MVPs. Whining about "the media" then doing weekly McAfee segments. Complaining about being disrespected when GB drafted his replacement after he was drafted to replace Favre. Quote
ngbills Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I would rather just see the Jets lose again. Get them even closer to being out of it. You look at their schedule and if they do turn things around it would not be out of question to go one a run and finish at 10-7 or even 11-6. Meanwhile HOU plays at DAL, at KC plus games vs DET and BAL. That is 4 very losable games. Then you look at our schedule and we have KC, SF and DET as losable games. Add in a loss to the Jets and we have 4 possible losses. So the way I see it HOU is going to lose at least 2-3 more games. The Jets dont have a impossible path to 10-11 wins. The Bills could also wind up with only 10-11 wins. While, I am not really worried about the Jets I would rather get closer to guaranteeing the division and worry about HOU later. Quote
Gunvald's Husse Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Head says Jets to win, heart says Texans ... but as others have said, it's a win-win Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I made a small wager on the Texans. Hard to pass up Houston +1. 1 Quote
