To be fair Jackson at that time looked good as he did good things with Flacco in Baltimore as well as a half way decent job in Oakland. In retrospect yeah he was horrible coach as I can still remember his blame game in Cleveland on Hard Knocks and thinking what a non leader he was. Quote
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) mario by a mile. his playing time as a bill and what he achieved (43 sacks in 4 seasons) on the field. he wasn't having any of rex ryans defense and unfortunately he was released after 4 seasons. the crazy thing was his contract though of $100 million at the time. spending all that dough on a player coming to a team that wasn't even going to sniff the playoffs. miller on the other hand, he's been injured and brought some shade to his reputation outside of football and in turn causing him to lose 4 games. he had a pretty good start to the season with 3 sacks but the defense actually has held up quite well without his presence on the field. we'll see what he does now that he's back from suspension. he's played 28 games for the bills so far and has a total of 11 (3 in 24 - 8 in 22) sacks. no brainer in this one Edited October 31 by DaBillsFanSince1973 Quote

Mario had one of the best defensive seasons in Bills history. He helped spear head a d line that had 4 guys with 10+ sacks and a top 3 defense. If we any qb besides EJ and that coward Orton, our defense would have made us a dangerous playoff team. Von’s biggest contribution has been giving glasses to kids (very nice) and maybe not beating his baby mama. Like can the Texans compare Diggs’ time with them this full season to someone healthy after this year is up? Von blew out his knee and was not himself last season but the start of 2022/start of 2024 he had 11 sacks in 15.5 games. But even going into the process he was saying "this should be Schwartz or an offensive guy". By the end of the process he was team Hue and had practically offered him the job without realising his bosses were hiring Rex. Quote

How he turned the #4 in total defense and #1 in sacks from 2014 into #15 total and #31 for sacks the following year turned me off him completely. Quote
