Anyone play COD?

I mainly play Zombies. Im having the right knee replaced next Thursday so I am going to be on there a lot

My son turned me onto it........i tried, i'm not good and that was the end of that.

 

How do i compete with kids that play 24 hours a day and never leave their moms basement. Like, these kids live for this stuff.......i, on the other hand, have a life, a family and a piss-stained mattress to worry about.

the newest one is free on the xbox game pass so i downloaded it but haven't had a chance to play.  what system?  i don't typically play against others online for the most part because i get absolutely destroyed.

I have COD night with my son on the Friday’s I have him.  We eat Italian sausage and Red Lobster biscuits.  Tonight is that night.

I just don’t enjoy video games without him though.  I usually find something around the house to do.

My son plays one of the versions

of it. I spent some time watching him play once and I was left very confused. Too much going on for me. I’m an Alex Kidd in Miracle World kind of chap.

 

Also, my son loves fishing. He goes out whenever he can but now the days are getting shorter he also plays a fishing game on his Xbox. It’s quite something.

Used to play a lot of cod but didn't play for years. Tried the newer ones recently because they are free on game pass, and I just can't get into them. 

 

Maps are all tiny, spawn locations are terrible, getting killed by guys sliding on the ground like they're on on ice rink.

 

Not for me anymore.

I played a while ago.  What I recall is that I was very rusty and my Halo skills from way back when did not translate.  I did not perform very well and for some reason all of the pre-teen punks were convinced I was black.  I left with serious concerns that my mother was sleeping with 12 year olds.  It was not a pleasant experience.  1/10.
