Another of us TBD OGs gone... that is terrible news. You just never fu*&*$ KNOW when your number is up. Cherish every single damn moment.

Very true. Had a stroke in 2014 that I fully recovered from. BP was 245/something.  when I heard that #, the first thought was "I should be dead. now" Every day since then is  bonus time. Was even more blessed this year as I got a kidney transplant after being on the waiting list for only a month. Really changed my outlook on life.

I saved this a couple of days ago and darned if it isn’t absolutely applicable to this place and its forerunners (I’ve been on since the early days when it was linked with the Rochester D&C, iirc).

RIP John. And take care, everyone who makes this community what it is.

I've been lurking here since the early days of this board and read it many times each day. I always valued his posts as they were well thought out and insightful.

May he rest in peace.

Thanks for letting us know Scott, and a wonderful tribute to John from Riverside, or as I liked to call him after he moved from Hemet, John "from my home town."

RIP JfR.
