Why would we give up on Coleman after one season. He has the ability to be a great red zone receiver. He’s really athletic with a big catch radius and good hands. Let’s see how he does when the bright lights come on in the playoffs.

Lol

Gadget guys are all over the league.

Coleman is nowhere near his ceiling.

Worthy is at his.  Because he ain’t getting taller or stronger not with that frame.

Keon looks every bit as promising as we thought.  If not for injury he’s at around 800 yards.

Remember he was raw.

Coleman always redeems too. Twice now in a game he’s recovered from a bad play to make an even better play. Probably due to some weird magic comms with Josh. Hopefully the bad plays dry up obviously but that’s a unique trait among all receivers.

Exactly!    I loved how Coleman was pointing to Josh to throw it higher on that initial broken TD.  He knows what he can do just takes more reps.  He’s also strong as an ox and a huge target

Worthy is good and will get his stats but they will be flat year to year and fade off as he slows.  Big and strong usually wins over the long term

I’m taking Coleman. At best Worthy looks like I. McKenzie in our offense.

This is exactly why I think they didn't go that route-the McKenzie role isn't utilized in the offense anymore- Coleman all day

-man that 40 yard pass that got called back was such a nice play

I am curious what exactly it is that would be a reason I can understand and see why you would say that?

I was emotional during the game and he dropped a ridiculous pass from Josh. Hope that’s helpful. 😂

This is a really good point that I don’t think a lot of people talk about

Before the draft, I wanted us to take Xavier Leggette. That was my guy. The guy I said I wanted us to avoid at all costs was Coleman. I thought he was slow and unable to separate. At the same time, I didn't want Worthy either. Now that I have seen Coleman be pretty much just as productive as Gabe Davis, with less targets, I just want to say crow ain't that bad. I also sure as heck wouldn't trade Coleman for Worthy.

His hands have been very inconsistent. Idk if I’d call them good yet.

He's definitely let a couple get away.

Hopefully it's just standard rookie inconsistency. 🤞

If I thought Worthy was the next DeSean Jackson I would trade Coleman for Worthy. But he is not that guy imo. He is more than a gadget and If he avoids injury he should have a decent career used properly and in the right scheme. He landed in a good spot.
Coleman sort of reminds me of James Cook. When I watched James last couple of years my feeling was sometimes of frustration. Frustration because it seemed that he was often just a half step or one block away from taking it to the house. This year it's happening as he establishes himself as one of the top breakaway backs in the league.
Coleman's growing pains can also be frustrating. He is as raw as red meat and has yet to acclimate to the pro game. But I've got this feeling that there are three and four touchdown games in his future and not all of them red zone either. He almost had three tds today. The long one was a beauty that was stolen by the refs. And while I did not appreciate his gesture, there is little doubt that if Josh's pass had been a foot or two higher, it would have resulted in another td.

Coleman is going to develop into a very good player. I would not trade him for Worthy.
