If I could choose one player it would be Nick Bosa or TJ Watt.

Make it happen, Beane. I know you can do it.

TJ Watt is on Steelers who are currently #1 in AFCC and their coach is very competitive with Buffalo.  Not a chance of Browns making it to Superbowl.

I wouldn't get all excited about a move coming. Bills had to decide on Evans today, so it was either activate him or cut him. Easy choice was to cut him and, hopefully, stash him on the PS.

There will be an accompanying move, but it will probably be someone moving up from the PS, not a big trade. (Though still keeping my eye out for one)

Why do this? Unless we expect to acquire someone?

Had to, his IR window was closing/closed.  Either activated to 53 or needed cut.

Really odd that they protected him and exposed Hardy to waivers.

No. He was on IR. They opened his 4 week window to return. At the end of that window he has to go on the 53 or be cut. They don't want to use their open spot on the 53 for him because it is for Von now his suspension is over and so Evans is cut straight from IR.

To your 1st point, it's quite simple--- we knew that our identity to start the year would be running and utilizing our RBs.

We had a rookie RB in Davis, no guarantee that he'd pan out.  Also no guarantee that our Top 3 RBs would be mostly healthy at this juncture.

Basic insurance policy.

Obviously those two players aren't going anywhere. They are franchise players that you never part with.
