I thought I heard Sal C. say on the radio yesterday that they wouldn't need to make a roster move for Von with the one d-lineman going on IR last week. Not sure...

Never understood why they did this for a replacement level back. Sure as hell doesn’t make much sense now.

Have to cut him to get him on PS?  Not hurt not going in the 53.  I think he is solid.  Worth having on PS.  Can return if needed can play if needed.

I don’t think he was taking a roster spot as they never called him up from IR?  Von has a spot as a result of Carter going in IR last week.

No for they left position open when DT went on IR.

does it really matter? Unless we have our top 2 backs go down they are not seeing the field on anything other than teams if they get called up.

this is my thought. and there has to be some sort of move to remove him from the IR to release to then put on the PS.

 

if he was on IR and injury released i do not think he can return to the PS.

Carter went to IR so they didn't need to move anyone.  Had an available spot.
