TFBillsfan Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Panthers eat 3.2Mil to move up into the late 5th round. Not sure I understand why they traded him to the Ravens. How is that a positive for Carolina? 1 Quote

They never seem to be quite the same when they leave Pittsburgh. Amari Cooper is much, much better. He isnt even in Cooper's league. Seriously. 6 minutes ago, TFBillsfan said: Panthers eat 3.2Mil to move up into the late 5th round. Not sure I understand why they traded him to the Ravens. How is that a positive for Carolina? Because he is a terrible guy in the locker room and in a season going south just get those guys outta there. 2 Quote

The Steelers always try really hard and over perform until being exposed. The eagles always choke. the chiefs refs always win cheat. the jets always jet. baltimore will run out of steam in december and run on fumes to the playoffs and flounder. maybe that's the hope. they can use him as a gadget guy and when lamar can get him the ball he's going to be able to cruise. Well if we are doing that then Buffalo will flame out because Sean can’t coach with Reid Quote

In fact, I think he is overrated but he is very good. Reid, like belichick, struggled early in his career. It took finding the right QB and having a little bit of luck having some other things go right. For some reason I have a thought, a feeling, that Reid's house is going to come down. 1 Quote

How is that a positive for Carolina? I really can’t believe Carolina couldn’t just squeeze a 4th or 5th straight up out of the ravens or another team. A pick swap plus eating his salary is pretty bad. They must have been desperate to unload him. Quote

If Harbaugh and Co. can turn Lamar Jackson into a viable NFL QB can they do something similar with Johnson? And they know him well from having played against him many times in the division. Quote
947 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 This trade tells me the Panthers have given up on Bryce Young & are clearly starting the tank job for a QB. If Young is their starter for the rest of the season to see what they have, it'd make sense to keep DJ so he has some targets to throw to. Instead they give up their top WR for literally almost nothing. Quote

DapperCam Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I just watched the Ravens - Browns highlights, and Lamar should have had like 3 interceptions if the Browns DBs could catch. Also a lot of his yards were on the final drive of the game where the Browns were in a full prevent defense allowing the Ravens to use up the rest of the clock. Not sure what the Bills defense was doing in our matchup, but I feel like we would perform a lot better in a rematch. Quote

Seems like McVay is the only one looking to win super bowls over there lol- you don’t know much about WRs apparently i think the goal in the AFC is more defined because we have a singular obstacle in KC to overcome tbh top NFC teams can afford to check and wait for the tournament Quote

Yup and those 5 TD passes the prior game didn't happen...what does Lamar have to do? Quote

Think it's even less than 900k. Diontae is inconsistent and can be a locker room disaster, if he's not getting his targets. Contract implication similar to Cooper, but far different players on different talent level. Cooper is the better WR IMO, without the headaches of a diva WR--clearly a focus after Diggs departure. Warriorspikes51 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Interesting. Figured he’d go back to Steelers or Texans would grab him Quote
