That happens with some WR when they put up 900+ then 1100+ and then the QB situation goes to hell.    I am sure he figured he was going to get a big pay day soon after and the  Steelers and now Ravens have undermined that in his opinion.   You can be mad about it in one hand and sh!t in another and see which one fills up quicker.   Players come with baggage.

He did get a big pay day after the Steelers.   He got a 2 year 38 million dollar contract from the Panthers.

I’m on record before all of this as saying if Diontae Johnson was on my team, I’d look to trade him. He’s an issue on the field and off and some of you guys (foolishly) wanted him.

Go back and look at the posts at the start of this thread. Fans hold on to draft opinions for far too long. The moral of this story is that players are people. This guy is a grade-A jackass. And he drops passes. Beane was not "asleep at the wheel" and this was not a "good pickup" by the Ravens. It was a swing and a miss. The NFL is filled with WRs that are more trouble than they're worth.

Not wrong. There is no analytics for mental case, yet. The guy can run great routes. But he’s obviously in it for himself.

This assclown was pulling the same ***** in Pittsburgh.  Some lobbied that the Bills WR were not good, and get Deonte.  I pleaded God no to that loser

The hot takes at the start of this thread are epic, even for TBD standards!🤣

Thank God McBeane are running this team!

Ravens are a premier organization. Doesn’t get much better at the top. They took a chance on him.

Seems like a wise career move.

I really don't get it.  Does he think teams will be lining up in free agency for his services after this?

He must have saved the bulk of his money.

Receivers are such divas. What was the term Von Miller used ? “Energy vampires?”

That’s why I love me some Mack Hollins.

Every receiver on this team is all about the team with zero selfishness. Hell, you can say that about basically the entire team.

There's no chance that's a coincidence.

As always, Beane and McDermott know more than you, I don't care who reads that.
