Anthony Richardson.  The comparisons with Josh because they're physically similar are ridiculous.  Should have stayed in college like Josh did in 2017.

How did it work out for the Titans and Mason Rudolph?

Well the Titans are 1-6 and one of the worst teams in the league, same as carolina when they benched bryce.

Indy is a quiet 4-4 and you'd be doing the rest of your roster a disservice putting a guy in at QB who can't complete passes (i'm imagining the texans game for allen, but weekly), and comes out when he's tired.

"The benching also comes after Richardson admitted to subbing out of the game on Sunday because he was "tired." The honest answer has spawned questions about the QB's dedication. Teammate Ryan Kelly even noted it wasn't "the standard" Richardson needs to play up to. While the offensive production issues are a more significant concern, the tapping out could have played a role in the decision."

I would just eat the cap space and punk kick him off my roster. Tired? Are you ******* kidding me?

interesting that  rb's and wr's take themselves out all the time to catch their breath and no one bats an eye

the shoulda stayed in college advice comes with significant risk too

maybe you get injured....maybe you take a step back and fall out of first round

if you a sure fire  first round pick.....take the guaranteed 4-5 yr money and go to the nfl

I agree that Indy has some talent, but if you're not gonna ride with him he never should've been named the starter. Nothing wrong with sitting a year behind a vet, especially when considered a raw prospect

It is better to block cookies.

One time in past Bills offense blocked for Cookie.

Josh Allen was never benched as he had that arm elbow strain injury in the middle of the season..  He also gave us the best chance to win in 2018 as we got demolished in the first three games he missed and then there was that fluky Barkley game against the Jets.

I've never heard a QB take himself out of a game for a breather before and thought it wasn't a big deal.  Just odd.  Then Ryan Kelly's (offensive caption at center) comments after the game saying he didn't play up to the standard they expect made me question what everyone in the locker room thinks of this guy.  There's no logical reason to start Flacco over Richardson so I'm guessing there's some internal stuff going on that led to his benching.

No logical reason?  You can’t be serious.  He’s AWFUL and they have talent enough to make the playoffs.  That’s the logic.

Ever see a QB do it?  No, because that’s a B word thing to do.
