Seismic decision is a bit much. He has been bad and then tapped himself out of the game. I surprised they didnt keep him out sunday.

I love Richardson's tools, but man he has been bad

The NFL is a tough place to get live gameday experience.  Dude has plenty of physical tools, but has not played that many games.

I agree with OP, 0% chance we lose to Richardson.  Flacco gives them a shot at the upset.

It's wild because Josh as his comparison point is the exact reason he is having the career he's having so far.

Not every qb with comparable measurables is just gonna come into the league and replicate what Allen has done.

Fortunately we struck gold because a lot of teams are using our success story as a baseline metric for hope with some of their qb picks

Taking himself off the field was not a smart move for the dude.

My understanding is that it was for one play when he was really gassed after a bunch of running around.

He probably shouldn't have done it, but it's going to get waaaaaayyyyyyy more attention than it deserves.

0% chance Bills would lose to Richardson, McDermott would have shut him down. Not concerned either way, but this is relevant with us playing them next week.

Talented, but NO desire to be great

On one hand, I agree. It’s one play, whatever. But it does call into question his dedication and his conditioning. Flacco came in and handed the bal off. Richardson, a professional athlete, couldn’t manage that?

Shades of Jamarcus Russell. Amazing skill set, serious character questions

The Bills actually do pretty well defensively against pocket passers.  Flacco has no mobility.  It will be a collapse the pocket approach.

Flacco has looked great the last two years. Maybe he will take 1-2 sacks against us, but he has great pocket presence and he is going to be chucking it. And they have three really great receivers, not to mention JT.

I wonder how much of McAffe’s comments yesterday made an impact on the decision regarding, on top of his own view, how that fan base would view his choice of tapping out for a play.

I can say with almost 100% certainty, that nfl coaches dont give a ***** what a former punter has to say

It didn't help that he was 2 for 15 with a horrible INT in the first half. When you're having that sort of day and then tap out for a play it looks a lot more like quitting than if he'd been balling out.

Colts drafted 95% athlete, 5% football player.  A story as old as the NFL draft itself.

Unfortunately for the Colts, Joe Flacco is 95% football player and 5% athlete at this stage is his career.
