I talked to my Oklahoma booster friend yesterday and unfortunately for you he says they are committed to bringing back Brett next year 

 

They're not buying him out even though money is not an issue 

 

OC is gonna be a big acquisition

We have an SEC defense as last night showed, But money needs to be spent on offense starting with OC and OL

In the past that hasn't been a huge issue with everyone in the Big12 and no NIL. Now you got Texas & A&M both in the SEC grabbing those players from you and NIL opens up deep pockets like Oregon, Ohio St., Miami, Tennessee to steal away Texas players like never before. 

 

college sports is just starting to change and in a few short years the "blue bloods" are going to be different programs than before. Oklahoma & Oklahoma State both will just be "another program", similar to how Nebraska declined from a powerhouse to a mid-low level program. Pissing on Venables or Gundy and thinking a change there is all you need is misguided

He gave me a list of some of their top guys and there really really intriguing 

 

I have to ask him if he doesn't mind me sharing it because I don't know if he's bound by anything 

 

But they have some big names they want at OC and they're willing to throw a lot of money and they definitely are committed to getting back quick

I'm happy with the OC hire and am glad Arnold is going to the portal.  Holds the ball too long, can't see or hit open WR's.  

 

Recruiting went well getting 2 top OT's.
