it's not like you'd be cashing in principal.  you'd just be taking capital gains.  but if you aint got em, you aint got em.

the question posed was "are you better off."  If you're not, you weren't invested enough.

The economy is more than the stock market. Seems like that's all your holding onto regarding the health of our current economy.  Why is credit card debt and delinquencys at an all time high if the economy is great?

because there are many Americans in denial about the fact that generational wealth is decreasing for unskilled laborers and they're still spending like nothing has changed.  In short, living above your means is dumb.

I like how all of the Puerto Rican voters have to be told by white people and celebrities to be offended. They are assuming they are all stupid and they are making a good case. Don't vote for us for our policies, vote for us because a comedian unaffiliated with the other candidate told a joke. They must not have much of a platform if that's the case. If you change your vote for this reason then you must have trouble tying your shoes. But I agree there are a lot of those types of people. Especially if your favorite celebrity is named Fat Joe or Bad Bunny

The Dems don't give a crap about these people they just want to win. Pretty sad and embarrassing to be used like that like what they do with the black vote. "We know you are braindead so vote for us without thinking it's just what people with your skin color do always no matter what." That's super racist of them.

Hoax on the first line.  My friends are pissed.   Like, shockingly pissed.

One of maga’s beefs is that they don’t like to be called morons.  Personally I think a lot of them are morons but, cheap dig aside, it’s a very fair point, and maybe explains their passion for a guy who doesn’t call them morons in public.  Puerto Ricans are having the same visceral reaction right now and, much as I won’t argue with maga about how MAGA should feel, I’m not going to question the emotions about the “garbage” comment here.

They gotta pay the bill for overconsumption.  And

they don’t want to.  So they blame everyone but themselves.  And join MAGA.

Do you own your home?  pretty nice gain there for most.

I own several homes.  It’s been great.  Huge gains.

The market is now Trump measures the economy.  Credit card defaults are high in significant part because people overspend and lack discipline.

So you agree people are struggling and the economy sucks? Thanks again for proving my point.

Yes I am.  Higher wages, falling prices, falling crime rate, smoking stock market. Abso-friggin-lutely.

This is f*cking bull####.  Smoke and mirrors.  Dems created programs where the cost of all staples skyrocketed in 2021.  A couple years later the prices come down a 1/4 of what it went up, and that's considered a win.   That's laughable.

And for the record, I have maxed out my 401K since I was 21 years old.  I am currently maxing out with the catch-up contribution and done the same for the last nine years.  I'm set for life without touching any principal.  I'll be 59 1/2 in March, own my home, paid for two kids masters programs, and have zero debt, suckers.  You and @Joe Ferguson forever can enjoy your government cheese waiting for your next handout.

so your returns on investments are better than the cost of inflation.  You're better off than you were 4 years ago.  stop lying.

With money I can't touch!  What don't you get?  You do know they penalize you if you touch that shlt before your 59 1/2 right?  What a mess.

He’ll fix it with tariffs, which he apparently envisions as equivalent to a flat tax.  It’s so stupid it almost defies comprehension.

Probably should have opened a brokerage account.  I can access that whenever I want.  You could have, too, but you apparently didn’t plan properly.
