Rich Stadium Original Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Don't believe in a lot of this subjective nonsense to begin with, but for those who missed it (according to PFF): Josh Allen graded out with a 64.1 after the Seattle game (guessing it was the fumble and INT??) Gino Smith graded out at 72.7 Your eyes lied to you..Allen was actually outplayed by Smith on Sunday..and by a considerable margin 1 3 2 37 Quote

They keep talking about how the Seahawks didn't attempt a deep ball or run the ball well like they could turn it on or off. I have a crazy idea ........... maybe we just played good defense. 1 1 Quote

ToGoGo Posted October 28 Posted October 28 This is what happens when those in charge of the data don’t understand data. They’re slaves to KPIs they don’t understand. Where is the adjustment? 1 1 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Oddly enough, Allen’s QBR for that game was 48.7, which is really bad. Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Josh's turnovers or turnover worthy plays just seem to be so negative in nature compared to others. 4 1 Quote

D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Josh sucks the big one, we're just stuck with him Quote
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Dear PFF, sorry that’s all I’ve got 🤷♂️. 2 Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted October 28 Posted October 28 (edited) If you want to see some total BS.... PFF has Patrick Mahomes, 8 TD's/9 INT's above Josh Allen. Because it's clear, Mahomes is playing better than Allen this year. Here are the other QB's rated higher than Allen this season: Geno Smith, Derek Carr, Lamar Jackson*, Aaron Rodgers (yes, you read that right), Brock Purdy, Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, Baker Mayfield and Jayden Daniels. I have an asterisk by Lamar because I think he's the only one that can be argued he's having a better year than Allen. I just want to repeat this again for everyone to see, PFF has graded AARON RODGERS higher than Josh Allen this year. https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/patrick-mahomes/11765 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/josh-allen/46601 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/josh-allen/46601 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/aaron-rodgers/2241 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/derek-carr/8671 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/joe-burrow/28022 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/brock-purdy/77672 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/jayden-daniels/97993 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/jared-goff/10635 (below Allen but they have Goff rated just average this year) https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/justin-herbert/28237 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/kyler-murray/38334 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/baker-mayfield/46518 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/trevor-lawrence/77632 Edited October 28 by Royale with Cheese 1 5 1 Quote

I remember last season Tyrel Dodson was consistently ranked in the top 5 LB ratings where Terrel Bernard was somewhere toward the bottom. It made no sense 1 Quote
Malazan Posted October 29 Posted October 29 PFF has said that they adjust stats for things that aren't directly related to play on the field. Stop paying any attention to them. 2 3 Quote

Saxum Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Reminds me of car reviews in 90s. The Japanese car companies paid professional writers to write favorable reviews in multiple names. A friend of mine who is Japanese was on negotiation team and she heard them talking about not grasping she understood Japanese fluently and assumed she was just a secretary. 5 minutes ago, Malazan said: PFF has said that they adjust stats for things that aren't directly related to play on the field.
