Khalil Mack trade - what would it take?

Yes I would think so. And giving that up for a 9 game rental of a 33 year old who isn't a game wrecker IMO when this team is still in the process of reloading and isn't one piece away I think would be foolish in the extreme.

Would you say he's better or worse than Jerry Hughes during our playoff runs? I don't watch the Chargers very often, how did he get 17 sacks last year? Genuine question. That's more than anyone we've had in a long time

I'd only bring aboard old players like Mack (or Clowney) to be exclusive 4th quarter enforcers for this Bills team to spread Chris Jones-esque chaos.

That's the role I want Von Miller to play.  I don't want to see him on the field until the middle of the 3rd quarter.

I wouldn’t offer them anything at this point. 1.5 sacks in seven games this season indicates a big decline. Heck, Von had three in the four games he’s played so far and he’s returning. I don’t think we need him.

Got them of the game logs on pro football reference.

Like I said, I got that number directly off the pro football reference game logs for 2024.

Uhoh-  might be time for you to get glasses!!  😉

He doesn’t have 1.5 sacks.  He had 1.5 in week 1

Is your name Jimmy and does your last name start with a P?

I ask because when we were (bad) kids, my siblings and I would sometimes try to sell odd things around the house, such as toys that were broken or never used anymore, etcetera, to make some money.

There was a rich kid across the street and a few doors down, Jimmy P., who would often want to buy some of our junk.

He had no conception of money it seemed, and likely could not count very well, even though he was older than us.  He would hold out a hand full of quarters to pay for a few marbles and an aggot, and ask, "Is this enough?"  We would  graciously accept  his offer and ask him he wanted to buy some more.

He would run home, happy as can be, and come back with more money for his next purchase.

It was a good summer.

Jimmy?

He is better than Hughes was in those runs. I'd say he is kinda what Leonard Floyd was for us last year although he maintained it better whereas Floyd fell off a cliff mid season.

He's past his prime and there is zero reason to trade Solomon. He has so much potential.

I disagree. He’s half a season removed from 17 sacks. I hope he ends up coming home to Buffalo a year or 2 down the road to chase a title although i think the Bills will be weary bc of the Von Miller situation. He might be 33, but freak DE/OLB’s can play damn near until they are 40. I really wish he didn’t in LA bc he is one of my favorite players.

Harbaugh went out of his way this offseason to say that you pay for production and that Mack was a top earner in that regard last year.  He is a Mack fan, and I think the Chargers will probably squeak in. He is not going anywhere.

3.5 through 7 games, actually, and he is on pace for 8.5. Plus sacks are spiky and he could have a 3-sack game at any point. He is still good!

Yeah, a DE’s sack numbers are overrated. Rousseau is also at 3.5, but he’s been one of the best players this year and leads the league in pressures. Give me disruption over sack total

No thanks as he’s past his prime, even though he had 17 sacks last years.  The prior years he was a single digit sack guy for years.  We already have Von coming back who had 3 sacks in 4 games.  Our D Line is one of our strengths.

Cooper was the big in season trade.  No one is going to trade away their kicker so we use one of our last of 10 picks on one in the draft as a back up plan.
