In the full size version you can zoom in as well. We were a huge presence at that game I was at the game and pointed out to my Wife that almost the entire side behind the Bills sideline was Bills blue, plus when the Seahawks had the ball, it seemed like most of the crowd noise was coming from that side. 1 1 Quote

Biggest reason being the ease of buying tickets on-line, either from the team or especially the resale market. Back in the day, you had to hang out by the stadium and buy with cash from scalpers. True. There always are visiting team fans around me in Orchard Park, and they celebrate wins there just like we do on the road. Quote
CNYfan Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Seattle pipes in noise. Weak. Also as the game wound down and Bills fans started signing the PA just started babbling nonsense and playing loud clips so the shout or let's go Buffalo was drowned out Quote
toto8 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Since I live in Alaska I have been to Seattle a bunch so I decided to go for the weekend. Everywhere I went I saw hundreds of fans. Pike place market, down by the piers, needle, riding the trains. It was thousands of us. At the game we were loud when their offense was playing. Not as loud as them but we made some noise. I went to a tailgate where I met DiaBillo and he told me that the tailgate sucks and is nothing like in Buffalo (have not been yet) Eric Wood stopped by and took a pic with him cool dude. It was awesome to get the W and all of us were happy to see our bills live. 4 2 Quote
May Day 10 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I like Seattle, the seahawks, and geno Smith. I hope they become and nfc spoiler Quote
BillsPride12 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I was out there. Was an incredible time. I was really looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere inside Lumen Field and was excited to see how loud it can get but the Seahawks fans were a big dud. Don't get me wrong all of the Seattle fans I encountered over the weekend were super friendly and good people but I was talking to a local and he said the demeanor of Seahawks fans has changed a lot in the last decade. He said the crowds there have really quieted down over the last few seasons. I thought the stadium was awesome though, and I am sure the design helped out in the noise department even when the Seahawks were much better. It would be insane to see what that stadium packed full of Bills fans could sound like. Quote

I agree, it was just a different era then. Sure, the South Florida parties and Miami game trip were legendary. It was however more difficult to obtain tickets. The interwebs and proliferation of secondary market ticket sites changed all that ! Quote
Turf Toejam 34 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Made the trip from NC for the weekend to attend the game with some family. Okay stadium (main concourse was very tight), weather was unbelievably changing. I think the Seahawk fans were even stunned at how many Bills fans made the trip. The fans seemed incredibly intense about making noise at specific times, but the noise that seemed (for me) that came directly from the crowd seemed rather pedestrian by the time they were down two scores with no real offense momentum in sight. Wanted to hang out with the rest of the Bills mafia in the stands after the game but there was a deluge right then. Got tremendously soaked just walking the 10 blocks back to the hotel. Thanks to the mafia for showing out! Quote

PonyBoy Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Can we please finally win a Superbowl to show what a here, hold my beer moment this Seattle game looks like! From the stadium, to the airport to downtown! Hell....we might even tear down city hall if we win and carry the facade pieces through Niagara Square 😀 1 Quote

I was not at yesterday's game in Seattle, but could definitely hear the Bills fans during the TV broadcast and was impressed. I really wanted to be at this one, because I live in the west, so Seattle would be same time zone, easy flight, etc. and it's a great city to visit and a pretty iconic newer stadium that I've always wanted to visit. I'm sorry I couldn't make the trip, but kudos to those who did and made their presence felt! That comment by Geno really captures it all and demonstrates that the Bills fanbase is truly the best in NFL (and quite possibly the best in all of US professional sports). Are you going to December game in LA? Quote

But I was amazed at how many fans were at the game and mulling around Seattle all weekend. Awesome fan base. Kudos to all who repped the team. And kudos to the team for making the trip worth it. If you go don’t Uber there. Quote

Mister Defense Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Yeah, I had to rewind parts to see if I was imagining how loud the fans were in support of the Bills at several points in the game. Surprised me--it was in Seattle! The complete domination, and the fans' reaction, made me even more proud to be a Bills fans, and for the first time this year had me thinking that this team may now be a very legitimate championship contender. And if the past few years are a predictor, they will now just keep getting better. Quote

Round trip from our hotel that was 20 mins from stadium cost over $200 and Missed most of the first quarter walking in. Thanks. Wish Karlos Williams didn’t eat himself out of the league. Quote

It was pretty loud the first two Bills drives….i don’t think there’s any “piping in” of noise, the stadium is just designed to reflect noise more than any other. The Seahawks fans were very vocal in the first half…then they all got stuck waiting for beer and we had an empty stadium for the first drive of the 3rd quarter. After that the game was over, so if it’s anyone’s fault it was the slow concession lines😂 Quote

I've been a Bills fan for 60+ years and have found no particular merit in that. It is fun to bring new people into the family. These "waggoners" are why we can take over a stadium 2500 miles from Buffalo. 1 Quote
