If so, curious how you thought yesterday’s crowd in Seattle compared. We frequently have a really high showing in Miami for many reasons, and usually a lot to cheer about. I was surprised to hear so many Bills fans on the TV broadcast, especially given how long of a trip it is to Seattle. Have always wanted to go see a game in Miami. Never have yet. But I was amazed at how many fans were at the game and mulling around Seattle all weekend. Awesome fan base. Kudos to all who repped the team. And kudos to the team for making the trip worth it. 2

NickelCity
Trying to upload a pic of the Bills' side of the stadium (my tickets on the hawks side were way cheaper 😅). Lot of red on that side... Edited Monday at 10:29 PM by NickelCity

Were Bills fan traveling a lot when Jim Kelly and co were playing ? By the standards of the day Bills fans were traveling in great numbers. It's different now, so many of these games are either in what have become "destination" cities or places with tons of WNY transplants. It's bittersweet to me because my dream scenario as a Bills fan was for the fan base to become it's own entity(in the same way that Cubs fans had been able to do) and separate from the team's dysfunction. We have totally achieved that with the Bills mafia shtick. But at the same time.........fans will be GIVING tickets away for the Dec 22 and 29 home games. Those traveling fans won't travel to Buffalo and sit out in the cold to cheer the team on. We have great numbers but more than our share of posers because it's become so trendy to be a Bills fan. 1 1 1

Maybe some giving away tickets, but I suspect not a lot of New England and Jets fans will be using them.

I was at that game in LA and the Bills crowd was amazing. I was not at yesterday's game in Seattle, but could definitely hear the Bills fans during the TV broadcast and was impressed. I really wanted to be at this one, because I live in the west, so Seattle would be same time zone, easy flight, etc. and it's a great city to visit and a pretty iconic newer stadium that I've always wanted to visit. I'm sorry I couldn't make the trip, but kudos to those who did and made their presence felt! That comment by Geno really captures it all and demonstrates that the Bills fanbase is truly the best in NFL (and quite possibly the best in all of US professional sports). Saxum
PS player Jalen Virgil played very well for Bills in the 11 snaps he did executing run support with Mack Hollins opening holes for RBs. It is interesting the wide receivers got bigger but the LBs/DBs got smaller.
Peace Frog
I was there (I live in SW Washington); we took the train from Vancouver, WA three hours north to the stadium. I took my daughter to her first ever game and she had a blast. Her boyfriend was with us for his first game (he's a Seattle fan) and she told me "I feel bad for him that his team is getting beat so bad." Anyway, it was fun seeing all of Bills Mafia in the stands with us. 6

nemhoff
I too have heard that Seattle pumps crowd noise into the stadium. I was there yesterday and was shocked at how many Bills fans were there, half the stadium on the 100 level. i live in Portland and get to hear/see all the “12th man” and “12’s” crap all the time. They ate a big slice of humble pie yesterday. Headed to the exit before the end of the third!! 1
SF Bills Fan
I could hear it on TV. In several friend text threads my buds watching on TV commented about how loud it seemed when we scored.

Many Seahawks jerseys are same color blue. There were more blue Hawks jerseys than Bills jerseys. A lot of the blue jerseys are 12th man jerseys with the number 12. I kept thinking they were Kelly jerseys. No. There also were more than a few Kelly 12 jerseys.

Were Bills fan traveling a lot when Jim Kelly and co were playing ? My recollection is that, in general, there are just a lot more opposing team fans in every stadium now then there were back then. Biggest reason being the ease of buying tickets on-line, either from the team or especially the resale market. Back in the day, you had to hang out by the stadium and buy with cash from scalpers. 2 hours ago, ChronicAndKnuckles said: I do not remember nearly enough fans at road games pre-Allen.
