Not sure I warrant being tagged, I'm 46.

Going on 24.

Notice I said "some of you", and that was for everyone on the board who reads the OP, not the people I tagged. You're part of the mafia, bro. 😃

I'm 47, so we probably started liking the Bills during the same time period. I started liking them in 1988. My first memory of them was losing to the Bears in Soldier Field, 24-3. I should've known then what I was in for. 🤣

What's one of your first memories of the Bills?

65 years.  2 AFL Championships.  No Super Bowl victories.  Yet.

And countless great times. Went to my first game as a five year old in ‘64 and haven’t regretted a minute the entire time.

Ahhh, Bills fan 69, good post. I was in 6th grade when the AFL was created and was DELIGHTED when I learned that Buffalo

was going to have a team in that league! I loved watching our team on those old black & white TV's we had back then!  And

when the Bills won those 2 Championship in 1964 & 65 I was on cloud 9 for days & days afterward.

Now I'm in my mid 70's and still "Live and Die" on each snap of the ball when the Bills are on offence.

BF619, good post, and "Go Bills"!!!

Going to one of the early games in 1960 at the Rockpile with my dad. We paid to park on some guy's front lawn. Mack Yoho was the Bill's kick returner. Every time the opponent teed up the ball the crowd would yell "Yo-ho, Yo-ho." The Bills' uniforms were silver and blue, the colors of the Detroit Lions, Wilson's favorite NFL team.

Thanks OP, what a shoutout and topic worthy of a thread!!! I’m grateful for all of you here and this franchise in general, which sucked me in on the way to Super Bowl XXV—lots of memories both good and sad since then…but getting to communally share them makes it all that much better! 🫡

My dad, who grew up in Buffalo, was 17-year-old Cleveland Brown's fan when the Bills came into existence.  As soon as the Bills started, Dad ditched the Browns and became a huge Bills fan. I wish I asked my Dad his first thoughts of the name "Buffalo Bills"...for some reason I never did.  Dad's name was Bill, so was his fathers (my grandfather).   They are the "Buffalo Bills".  This team is part of my DNA and always will be.  Happy Birthday Buffalo Bills!!

I recall an article from the mid-80s that said for the 25 year period from 1960 thru 1984, the Bills had the worst winning percentage among all teams across the four major pro sports played in the US. Don’t know if that was true or not, but having lived thru that stretch, I wouldn’t doubt it.
