Not an insignificant point.  Look, we all hate that he had some ugly personal issues that resulted in a suspension but the Bills went 3-1 over that span and we now get a player who will be fresh and motivated for the stretch run.  Von was beginning to play like Von…having him back only strengthens this pass rush.

Watched some Rams highlights from 2022. Man, Von was quick as a cat. Forgot how athletic he is when healthy. Last year was an aberration.

Sieler would be their biggest lost.

He's a very good, underrated player

Apparently he has a pretty serious eye injury - orbital fracture may require surgery.  He is the linchpin of their run defense, and the Bills have been running the ball well of late.

He was great to start his time here pre injury and good so far this year so we could still get something out of him yet.

outside of Adrian Peterson guys seem to really struggle coming back from acl injuries…I think the mental hurdle is so tough even once you get past the conditioning/physical stuff

Gronk and Brady both came back from ACL injuries and I would say were pretty successful.  Thurman Thomas played his entire NFL career with a 85% torn ACL.

Any big name defensive players that bounced back?  It was probably partly the brace but von just didn’t have any bend last year which is a lot of his game

I believe Bruce Smith had some pretty serious knee injuries and Dr. Steadman did some revolutionary procedures to return him to football.

He wears a helmet... that's got to be a non-football injury?

Just trying to wrap my head around an orbital fracture as a football injury.

Dolphins site says he was poked in the eye.

Gonna be a tough game.  You know Miami is going to throw everything at this game,  they need it to save their season.

Kinda like last January?

Agree hes underrated and very good. The reason he and the bills to an extent are underrated and good is cause of the physicality.  Without him I dont know how they dont get steam rolled.  They will likely get some points but if our line is fired up I think we will be able to roll over them pretty successfully.

Guess it’s serious as he may require surgery… if it has an effect on his vision… it’s more than a football injury.

All this fear that the Dolphins season is in the balance and they are desperate assumes that at the core they have the culture and leadership which rises up to the occasion - when it is the complete opposite.  With this leadership they've folded at the slightest sign of adversity or pressure, and will continue to do so as long as the word salad nerd is at the helm.

I see a blowout coming as normal in Buffalo.

Remember when the Dolphins were in a win-and-in scenario the last week of the 2020 season, and the Bills stomped them only playing their starters for a half?

Man, that was brutal. I still feel bad about losing to the Steelers backups in a similar scenario all these years later.

It's hard for me to think about a rematch here. I know the Dolphins are a bit different but the structural similarities are still about the same so in my mind I have to give an edge to the Bills at home with a healthy TJ plus Cooper
