Week 9 - Dolphins at Bills Game Week Thread

All of the pressure in this game is on Miami -- from keeping playoff hopes alive, to getting the "Bills" monkey off their back, to breaking a losing streak.

None of the pressure in this game is on the Bills, who will be comfortably in first place in the AFC East regardless of the outcome of the game.

Furthermore, Josh Allen just seems to play confidently and play well against the Dolphins. A relaxed, confident Josh Allen having fun is usually a dangerous Josh Allen.

I in no way think this game is a gimme, and the Dolphins are a talented and motivated enough team that an upset wouldn't shock me. BUT....I think the Bills will take care of business this week.

Strong disagree. He makes my ears bleed.

He is the only dude on radio that paints a picture so clear it's almost like I am watching the game in my mind and see exactly what's happening on the field.  That's a rare gift.

Maybe. I've never heard him do radio. I find he over talks on TV (which is often actually something you find with radio pbp guys when they cross over). His tendency to tell you every play who the tackle is really winds me up. Dollar for every "Dawkins with the block at the left tackle" or "Brown with the block at the right tackle" on Sunday. It's like a verbal tick he has to avoid saying nothing. Sometimes just let the pictures breathe.

If we can get the jump on them early, any motivation they have will evaporate.   I seriously just hope Tua doesn't get another head injury

Their DC saying Josh holds the ball like a "loaf of bread"  might be accurate, but not at all a wise thing for a coach to be saying

it could result in some entertaining TD celebrations from Josh and likely a taunting penalty haha

also gives Allen another piece of motivation.   Kind of like what happened with Mahomes here in January  "Good Luck"    FAIL!

Perhaps on TV it might be a bit much, but on radio it's like  I am almost watching the game in my mind...I mean he even tells you what side of the field the play is on most times.

It's expected that both Zach Sieler and Javon Holland are OUT for the Dolphins on Sunday.

Their defense is really hurting...

Nickel Corner Kader Kohou too...

They're already missing Jaelen Phillips who played against us Week 2. That's 4 starters missing, not to mention Bradley Chubb is still out.

Good video of multiple Dolphin assistants focusing on the upcoming Bills game ...
"Defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, offensive coordinator Frank Smith, special teams coordinator Danny Crossman, linebackers coach and run game coordinator Joe Barry, and associate head coach and running backs coach Eric Studesville met with the media at the Baptist Health Training Complex in Miami Gardens, Florida."

Thanks for posting.  Weaver was a pleasure to listen to, despite the loaf of bread comment.  He's postive, animated, intelligent.  Had a lot of nice things to say about Bills players that seemed very genuine.

People make too much out of singular comments without listening to the entire context of what he is talking about...I mean he isn't wrong...Allen DOES carry the ball loose sometimes.  He has gotten much better over the last few years at protecting the ball...the first few years in the league it was always praying he held onto the ball while running and didn't fumble...the last few years not so much.

no sieler, holland or Kohou

Sucks for them

Good lord, going to be a field day both running and passing for the Bills...could see 500 yards of offense. Thankfully Ramsey is playing tho so Allen can target him multiple times to remind him of who is "trash".

It really does suck for them.

It feels like the Bills are almost always the ones going into these big games with half their roster missing, so it's hard for me too feel too much sympathy.

The injury bug comes for everyone. Next man up. Same as it ever was.
