I'll have to research this, who does them.

Looks like @Gugny does these.  I don't want to ruin his mojo, so let's go.

Don’t know who started it but one was made yesterday I believe.

It’s Joe Six Pack, but he’s changed his name 37 times and I’ve lost track.

So, as opposed to last week, when I heard everyone worrying about the Seahawks while I felt it would be a relatively easy win for the Bills...now I'm seeing everyone puffing out their chests and predicting a blowout.

This week is Miami's Super Bowl -- make no mistake.  They know their season is essentially over if they don't win this game, because they're not going 8-1 or 7-2 down the stretch.  The effort will be there...at least early on.

The challenge for Miami, however, isn't just between the white lines...it's between the ears.  They have a Buffalo problem.  It's like we were with the Pats*** during their dynasty.  It's not IF something bad will happen to Miami during this game...it's WHEN.

Josh lives for beating this team and he'll do it again.

This.

I expect Miami to come out swinging and definitely testing our safeties.

We had a hard time with Achane moving the sticks for them the first time around so need a better plan for him.

If we get up on them early I would just love a Miami team collapse and run for the bus, but we will see.

I am almost concerned for Tua taking shots, but they keep bringing him back, and he keeps coming back so our defense just has to treat him like any other opposing QB that they need to plant in the turf.

great post. I concur with every point you made.  Tua playing is his decision but I'm cringing if he gets sacked. And I honestly would hate to see him concussed  again .  But our defense can't play against he any different like any NFL QB as you rightly stated.

it's cringe or me though Im not gonna lie. Squish the Fish? YES even still.

Inconceivable. Other than. “Division game”

“2nd meeting”

usually the answer lies in Dvoa. Let me deep dive

edit :

dvoa

overall buf tied for 4th w kc (never seen a tie) vs Mia 29

off buf is 2nd (1st bal) vs Mia 29

Def buf is 7th vs Mia 21

line makes no sense. Altho Mia offense # is off bc tua been out for so long

Im guessing dvoa is different with Tua?

So last week the major injuries were all DNP:

With Dwayne Carter to IR, the only question marks heading into the week will be Bernard and Samuel. Interested to see if they’ll get in any work tomorrow after a full week of rest.

I am guessing Bernard is a go this week and Samuel needs more time.

So, I have a dumb question.

Why doesn't Tua wear one of those padded covers over his helmet?  His teammate Achane wears one. They are proven to reduce concussions, so they say.

And why doesn't the NFL mandate that any player that is checked for, or has a concussion has to wear one for the rest of the season?

Do they care about cte, or just covering there ass?

Massive game for Miami and with Tua i think they gash the Bills D a bit, with speed, at least early.  The question for Miami will be how to stop Allen and the Bills offense and trying to keep pace.  Eventually the Bills D will get stops and the offense is feeling it

I don’t think it’s a dumb question.

The perception about the guardian cap is that they reduce concussions. The reality is that although this could be true, it isn’t proven in game use. A lot of the statistics provided reference practice/ training camp data (which are already limited in contact) and lab tests.

So to the naked eye it seems like an obvious choice for a player who suffers head injuries. For many, the potential benefit doesn’t make it worth their wild, as I know som dislike the feeling, weight and heat from the caps

I wrote this in a recent game thread but i’ll paste it here in response.

Honestly, the guardian helmets are weird looking.  Like they threw a pillow case over the helmet with cheap foam underneath and then asked a 3rd grader to draw the logo and color it in.  The NFL is a 100 billion industry or whatever.  They can’t design a better looking and safer helmet?!  more players like Tua would wear it if they did.

From what I think I know of Josh Allen, I bet that he would LOVE to know about this so he can figure out how to prevent this problem moving forward.  For example, how to prepare your mind and body for that time change.

Hope somebody close to the team get this info to the right people.

My general theory is without turnovers, very hard for a lesser team to upset a better team.

In all 3 examples above, Josh had at least 2 turnovers in the form of INT and/or fumble. This year he's really addressing that, in fact our WRs/RBs are addressing that as well.

Now if you say DST has something to do with Josh throwing INTs, then I have no answer. But if there is an odds of Bills having no turnover this Sunday = Bills winning the game, let me know. I'm willing to put all I have plus some on that.
