Week 9 - Dolphins at Bills Game Week Thread

I'm looking for Miami to show up with a decent effort but the Bills will put in the work this week and get the job done at home.

Things seem to going well within the Bills team and Miami is in disarray.

The Bills have experience and good leadership, they set high expectations, and they are doing what it takes to meet their goals.

I'm expecting the Fins to casually walk into the Buffalo meatgrinder this weekend and see a buzzsaw like they've never seen before, but realistically, i think Miami keeps this one close.......maybe not "down to the wire" close, but somewhat make a game of it......for a little while at least, until the Bills decide to not want to play with their food anymore and go for the throat and put them out of their misery.

Think it will be closer than a lot of people expect.. Miami is playing with their season on the line. Buffalo is playing, well.. for what? I know they all wanna win (because it’s what they get paid to do) but there’s not a DRIVING factor that’s pushing us like Miami. But I still think we win because we are the better team.

Buffalo- 31

Miami- 24

Stat I love:

Tyreek Hill, who signed a $120 million extension in 2022, has just 366 yards and he's played all 7 Phins game this year. That's an average of 52 yards a game.

Unless he's played hurt all year and can come back 100% down the line, it appears that one our our greatest nemesises (nemesi?) is on the decline. (As with Kelce).

Also of note, Hill's dead cap figure is $37 million this year and $27.75 million in 2025 (cap hit of $31 million next year).

So he'll be a financial burden to the Phins without providing the ROI.

Not sure you can fault Hill for who they've had at QB for the last 4 weeks.

Buffalo is a bad match up for Miami. Buffalo dictates the terms of the game.  38-13 Buffalo.  Buffalo is better today than they were in Sept.  Miami is not.  Allen has a massive first half.  Running game eats in the second half.  Buffalo makes Tua miserable.
