machine gun kelly
It’s highly unlikely we lose 4 more games. I can see 2. We’re not perfect, but we are one of the better teams in the league.

Getting to 8-2 would be a sweet spot to be in knowing we have players returning for the back half of the season! 8-2 all but assures the AFCE title with bigger goals to achieve! Last I checked, there are 17 games. 8-2 guarantees nothing. Need to take it a step at a time.

Coach Tuesday
This season is more enjoyable than last season, if we’re being honest.

I think last season felt like a team that had run out of gas and had missed its chances. What happened at the end of the year is Shakir, Benford, Bernard, Cook, Kincaid really started to emerge and you began to see the Allen Bills v2.0. This season seeing some more young blood added and that further development of those guys is fun. I'd still be surprised personally if this team is a championship level team this season, but I think some of the pieces look like they might fall into place that with the right additions and a bit more development from players and our two young coordinators they could be right back in that mix in 2025.

Now it is the Lions. We'll see if they still are in a couple of weeks. The season always has ebbs and flows like this. The trick is getting hot right as you are heading into the playoffs. That's where we want the Bills to be. All of last week the talk was the Ravens being the best team in the league. Watch how that talk will shift to Detroit this week. How dominant they are. Destined to win blah blah. I think they will lose to GB this week and the media will hype the next team. If Bills blow out the Fins the media will be all over the team as the one to beat. It happens every year. These media narratives get repetitive and boring year after year.
SoonerBillsFan
I hope week 18 we see the likes of Trubisky, Van Pran-Granger, DeWayne Carter, Javon Solomon etal. starting against NE because our playoff slot is locked up.

Everything else is a bonus. Regular season doesn't mean much, they need to not be decimated by injuries on D playing KC or Baltimore or Houston when it counts. You are 100% right but that 1 seed would sure look nice going into the playoffs.

Billsatlastin2018
The Bills will be favoured to win in 8/9 remaining games. They are definitely better- far better than the Fish, the Jests, the Cheats, the Dolts and the Rams. However, they still need to play the games and not take anybody for granted… ever. They are a tiny bit better than the 49ers… as the 49er injuries stack up today. Plus, they’re at Home and probably should beat them. They are equal to or a hair worse than the Chiefs. Again, they’re at Home and have a decent shot to win. The Lions are the best team in the NFL, at home and should beat the Bills… at present. That makes their final Season total 12-5 or 14-3. The latter gets you #2 Seed for sure, possibly #1.

colin
im usually the hopeful guy who thinks we can win out or whatever, i was even an early believer in the 2 seed last season! but, this year is really really strange because we can win the next two and basically be one more divisional win away from mathematically clinching the division, I honestly can't think of when that has happened this early in the season in the afc east -- but i think finishing ahead of balt/pittz, houston, and kc is really really hard. obv houston having guys hurt could torpedo them, and pittz and balt might end up beating up on each other, but even if we beat kc, it's gonna be hard to catch them. i'd be shocked if we go only losing 0,1,2 more games the rest of the way, obv i'd be elated if we do. i think we win the next 2 and it is clear that we will win the division, if not mathematically certain at that point. my biggest hope is that we get to the playoffs as healthy as we can be. Have Bills finishing at 12 - 5, including mail-it-in rest Josh & starters loss at NE in week 18. In the scenario of my picks they're 12 - 4 going into the last week. Tied with Baltimore also 12-4 for #2 seed, but w tie-breaker going to Ravens, Bills rest starters and accept 3 Seed. AFC seeds, 1. Chiefs, 2. Ravens, 3. Bills 4. Texans, 5. Steelers 6. Bengals, 7. Chargers. Bengals w 9- 8 record get wild card and come to Buffalo for round 1 In the NFC I have GB winning the North and #1 seed. NFC wild card teams are going to be so much better than AFC wildcards. Vikings plus either Lions or Packers, and either Commanders or Eagles are likely wild card teams. 1

Mikie2times
That Detroit game is going to be very difficult for us. They have the DNA to play very similar as Baltimore and just push us around. I can also assure you they did not forget about the Win we had there a few years ago. It's a proud team and many of those players are the same. Look what they did to make up for the Dallas game this year. They want to put everybody on notice but most of all the good teams. A win in that spot would be equal to a win vs KC perhaps even greater as it relates to regular season accomplishments for this year.

They’d have to lose to the Bills, plus 2/3 against Chargers, Steelers & Bucs. KC isn’t great this year, but they keep on winning! Even coming back from behind in several games.
