And like he said, we are below .500 in close games.

The one that does it in the playoffs

Huh…We are OVER 500 in close games…which also means when the Bills get beat…the barely get beat…

The ravens game was the first big L in a long time. McBeane and JA have built a model franchise. They are 5-5 in the playoffs.Lamar is 2-4. The lost in the playoffs by inexperience first 2 years, a coin flip that the nfl changed the rules after, Cinci horrible match up and last year went to the finish with a practice squad D.

Be happy

We are 13-17 in games decided by 7 points or less since 2021, including the playoffs. We are 0-3 after the wild card round since that time and the guy you point out at 2-4 has made it further than we have to the AFC championship game. I experienced the early 90's. I won't hang my hat on the Bills leading the NFL in win% for the decade. Nobody cares or remembers.

Becuase its really not "garbage time" until the other team concedes.

If we’re up 31-3 and out in our backups, and they give up three touchdowns and don’t score in the fourth quarter, we get credit for a “close” victory :)

I do agree with the OP that our backups should get more playing time when we are up, say, 31-3 in the third quarter.

Why not let those guys get some reps, and protect our starters from getting pointless injuries in garbage time?

Something like this under normal circumstances when all of the starters are healthy i would 100% agree BUT how long has it been that they haven't had every one of their starters on the field ??

The D hasn't had 1 game i don't believe this season that they have had them all on the field at the same time weather it was due to injury or suspension, so with that the back ups are getting plenty of reps which makes me think that is why the Bills are doing pretty good at 6 & 2 .

The 1 safety Mike Edwards ? i think it is has yet to see the field this season because he was hurt in the preseason and that dude has some chops playing on is it 2 SB teams ? The rookie they drafted has more field time than he does to this point this season .

I would like to see them put him out there to get some reps before the play offs come around and have actual game speed/field time in this D .

You don't see a gap between winning a playoff game after the wild card round and going for 3 consecutive Super Bowls? If anybody is questioning our ability to mop the floor with wild card or lower teams they really should get checked out by a medical professional. Further, if anybody thinks beating these teams means anything toward our ability to getting it done in the playoffs you should go see the same doctor.

So the only team we are trailing in the AFC is KC, so you are restating what I said with "context"
