Boy, the 49ers safety is sure pissing me off. He’s a future all pro, and a position the Bills were highly invested in predraft. Mustapha was a day 3 pick. I love watching him play. I like Bishop, I think, but McDermott doesn’t like him as much as any HC in the league would love Malik Mustapha.

And receiver. I’ll say the unpopular thing at the moment.  Bills should’ve traded up to draft Brian Thomas Jr. I appreciate Coleman’s production. He’s ahead of schedule, and I didn’t fully expect it. But Thomas is a ten top ten WR1 real soon. I know we can’t have it all, but I wish we got these two.

Any players that the Bills probably should’ve have drafted based on projections, but avoided in order to draft that position with better results? And, what other names did the Bills pass on in this year’s draft that you wish we drafted?

I mean if we are going to come up with trades for receivers that were never going to be made, why stop at Thomas? Why not say Nabors?

I was having a nice, relaxing day. Watching a great Bills victory. Slowly drinking beer.

Now, I have to mainline a full bottle of gin.

Thanks?

Nabers costed too much. Thomas Jr was realistic.

Then the Thanks deserves at least a period, and possibly an exclamation point

I’m pretty sure the Bills would have loved BTJ but probably not enough to make a crazy trade.  Who knows though they might have inquired about him.

I really like what I’ve seen from Mustafa.  We’ll likely have to wait a year to see what we have in Bishop

In regards to the gin, absolutely.

In regards to the post, question mark is the only option.

He’s a decent hitter but not great in coverage. PFF had him in bottom 1/3 as the game started. Not sure I necessarily assume that as gospel but he’s ok. Not regretting Bills didn’t draft him.
With respect to Thomas and trading up.. it’s not Madden. Do we know that BB didn’t try that? Jax earned that draft spot with poor play. I’m pleased with a very productive draft for this season. Even with Bishop yet to be determined.

There will be good players not drafted by the Bills just like there will be good players we draft that other teams wish they did instead.

And the Bills had 6-7 picks ?  Several players we didn’t pick look darn good. Some others don’t. I’m not  gonna beat up BB for trades that other teams don’t accept nor not drafting 20 good players 🤷🏻‍♂️but that’s me.

Not that pff is the end all be all by any means but it gave me a bit of a chuckle seeing supposed future all pro absolutely unstoppable Malik mustapha rated lower than both our starting safeties 🤣

Shows how useless PFF really is.  Mustapha is 2x the player our entire safety room is combined…. I wish that was actually hyperbole.
