Tough break for Diggs. Football is my favorite sport but the injuries are just brutal in the NFL. The players are fine toned athletes  & most train year around. Sometimes I wonder if it's too much on their bodies. I hope the league doesn't try to add more games. I also wonder about the turf in Indy, I've seen comments about that before.

I think his leadership after the Damar game is a huge reason they were able to even win that Wild Card game.  Just a highly emotional kid who had extreme positive and negative traits.  We'll never know exactly what happened but I blame both sides for the breakup.  BTW, he gave us 3 1/2 great years.  Not 2 1/2.

The cameras were on him.

I’m not sure what point this makes actually.

Mine was when this team got a minute to reflect on the way 2022 ended - he disappeared when the cameras were off.

The perspective he found after what the team went through was absolutely “yea I’m out.”

Can we all agree that’s what happened?

Except for the Minneapolis Miracle.

Yeah- he caught a pass right to him while being covered by no one as the safety ran right by him like an idiot.  It’s a miracle that he gets so much credit for the oppositions suck

How, how, does vegas have the Jets favored by 2 over HOU in NJ?  Losing Diggs cannot be it.  Can someone tell me why my first ever online bet should not be HOU this thursday?

jet are in MUST win rest of year, I could actually see them winning this game as they are catching Houston at the best time

He did play three and a half great seasons for us, and was very cool to kids which counts for a lot to me. Don’t forget he played great the first half of last season. Watch last year’s Miami game to see how great.

Bummer for him but football is like that. He may mature a bit not being the invulnerable superstar.

If you like gaudy stats, you like Diggs.

If you like over the top Vince McMahon style narcissism and histrionics, you like Diggs.

If you like a guy that melts down when times gets tough, Diggs is your guy!

If you like championships and humility… Diggs is trash.

Yup, they’re trying to add more games, which is a horrible idea.

He knew cameras were across the street before he went to the hospital? 🙄

I'm not saying there's no reason to have resentment for how things went after the 2022 Playoff game until his departure. But let's not twist how he responded to the Hamlin situation into "it was just for the cameras" bc of it.

I wholly disagree that his knee injury is karma related. It’s just bad luck. Really bad luck, considering they restructured his contract into a one year deal. Buffalo winning the Super Bowl, after he forced his way out because he thought he couldn’t win a Super Bowl here, now THAT would be karma.

The idea that Diggs left because he thought he couldn't win a SB here really needs to die

I can't tell you how grateful I am not to have to listen to the sanctimonious 'hE WaNts tO WiN mOaR' crowd

No no no.  I’m not saying he didn’t care about Hamlin, come on.  Of course he did.

The point was we see a public Diggs and then there is the Diggs Maddy Glab told you what is most likely the truth.

He was great for us.  He was a beloved player.  Some even loved his personality.  He was also a pain in the **s when things got tough and we can all only speculate.

He left this team with a 25 plus million dollar dead cap hit - that’s a season in the Josh Allen era a position paid to a player we were counting on being here and had planned on being here - gone.

I have no idea why people want to defend him with how it ended.  You should be enraged.

But, with the current group maybe it all will work out.  I love thinking about that cap hit now basically as going to Amari Cooper.

Was pretty emphatic about it too.  Argued at length with a bunch of us.

The audacity of anyone on a message board to argue with you.

I think he was wearing jersey #1 for the Texans, so you should revise your post to $1..........that's still more money than I would be willing to give to a guy who forced his way off the Bills, and probably never wanted to be there in the first place.

Hard pass.
