No rational person can deny that. Like I wrote earlier, and I paraphrase now: Don't get over your skis. Diggs did. great analogy there. I agree Diggs was great, until he believed he was in charge of everything. 2 Quote
Doc Brown Posted October 29 Posted October 29 1 minute ago, RyanC883 said: all great points. But he did follow it up with a season of quitting during games and disappearing in the playoffs. No doubt he wants to win, but he acts like a spoiled kid when things are not 100 percent to his liking. Yup. Don't disagree there. There's so much that goes on behind the scenes though that it's easy just to make Diggs the villain since he's no longer here. 1 Quote
Starr-Bills Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I like Diggs and he was good for this team and good for Josh for a time. He scored a lot of touchdowns and made a lot of clutch catches. The best of which in my opinion was his catch at what should have been the end of the Cardinals game it’s a bummer to see him hurt especially this time of the season and with his contract situation, but I think he’ll bounce back Quote
JGMcD2 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Worth taking a snapshot of what Diggs accomplished in 8 games with Houston compared to a few of our guys here… Diggs in 8 Games (431 Snaps) 47 Receptions on 64 Targets 496 Yards Receiving 3 Touchdowns Shakir in 7 Games (242 Snaps) 36 Receptions on 38 Targets 421 Yards Receiving 2 Touchdowns Coleman in 8 Games (335 Snaps) 21 Receptions on 34 Targets 396 Yards Receiving 3 Touchdowns Kincaid in 8 Games (316 Snaps) 28 Receptions on 44 Targets 300 Yards Receiving 2 Touchdowns I really don’t think we appreciate how good Shakir is… 7 Quote
NewEra Posted October 29 Posted October 29 He was low key Aaron Judge. Great in the regular season. Nowhere to be found in the playoffs. Judge might be the biggest playoff bum in MLB history. Diggs wasn’t as good of a regular season stud and not as big of a playoff bust. Hence the low key 2 Quote

sleeby Posted October 29 Posted October 29 {Art wander}: wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute- How, how, does vegas have the Jets favored by 2 over HOU in NJ? Losing Diggs cannot be it. Can someone tell me why my first ever online bet should not be HOU this thursday? Quote

Still no Nico Collins and now no Diggs. 1 Quote
sleeby Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Thank you. Still, that does not make them worse than the pats and jets. I think the answer to my question is that I would win money first time and so maybe develop a gambling problem. 🤔 Quote

There will always be a portion of me appreciative to 14 for what he meant to our team those first 3 years. But I just wish he could've checked the diva in him at the door towards the end. He just couldn't help himself and I guess Viking Stef was bound to show up eventually. 1 1 Quote

But he was never really that bonafide stud wideout he imagined himself to be if we are being totally honest He excelled at a particular skill set (great hands, dynamic route runner, short area quickness) and maximized his talent for sure but he was never Adams, never Hill, never Jefferson or Hopkins or even Chase...he's basically terry mclaurin just playing w Josh Allen imo Ridiculous nonsense. 1 Quote
