Thanks for the response. I understand the frustration dealing with the pharmacy issues and understand the harm it would cause should that program be revoked.I am not sure these programs would go away because they didn't during his first term?

As far as the trans stuff. it's only upsetting to me when the exposure becomes over the top towards children. Just let the kids be kids.

let kids be kids for sure, but let them decide what type of kid they want to be to an extent.

the PREP program is funded through 2025, it was put in place back in 2015. eliminating this program would save a good amount of money, any wouldn’t impact a portion of the population Trump views as a cornerstone to his base.

id like him surprise me, but there’s been literally nothing in his campaign aimed at LGBT equality, which I def understand because again it’s not an audience he has a chance to win over.

the wild part is, Trump was always very pro-LGBT prior to becoming a politician (as was he pro-choice and against assault weapons) but when religious money starts pouring into your campaign, he had to make the decision to follow the money.

Overall, the Trump/MSG rally was a success.

Most of the hit pieces from adversarial media were already written no matter what occurred.

Huge statement made and dominated news coverage, much of it good and some of it bad.

As for Tony Hinchcliffe..  No idea why he did that knowing how leftist media and libs would use it.

Anyone offended by it, or pretending to be, wasn’t voting for Trump.

That said.. unforced error that allows Dems a Hail Mary for what seems like a lifeless close.

If PA is within 10,000 votes, maybe… maybe.. it makes a difference electorally.

But it also forces R’s in PR heavy areas to clean it up, which furthers the story.

Could it backfire if Dems go overboard with it this week.. yea, and they might… but the Trump campaign didn’t need that from what was, otherwise, a really well produced event.

why are people acting like a filling a free event at MSG is some ground breaking moment…they had plenty of celebs on the bill to attract the crowd. just like Harris drawing 20k with Beyoncé on the bill, it’s all so stupid.

this rally stuff on both sides is just insanely dumb.

It’s more about having the desire/audacity/balls etc to do it there.

What you say isn’t wrong..  Long Island and Staten Island are red and could fill that venue for a Trump rally in seconds.

Yup.  Sad isn't it?  We know what MAGAs believe..  But he lost some undecideds and definitely some latinos, blacks and other minority voters.

That’s what these idiots don’t get. Unforced error. The only explanation is trump knows he’s going to lose and that was his dog whistle. He wore the colors of his Neo nazi buddies the other day. He did that on purpose. Getting ready for the next 1/6.

I think this is a reasonable take.  69% of Americans believe he will not accept a loss.  Many of those are still going to vote for trump.  If you want to be authoritarian, taking power by violence is the game plan  Saw a Jewish friend this am.  I was telling him we are cancelling a trip to Cuba with a local college because of rolling power failures and riots.  He said Cuba will probably be safer than the US in 2 weeks.

I mentioned before: I've been to exactly one political rally in my life. Dukakis (!) 1988. I was working nearby the rally and they let us off work early because streets were shut down. It was the most boring and stupidest event I've ever been to in my life. And that's not even mentioning the magnetic Mr. Dukakis, who came on a good hour and a half into it. Can't imagine ever wanting to do that again for any candidate. I've decided people go because they have free tickets, nothing better to do, and want to feel some sense of camaraderie with fellow supporters. Not unlike a Super Bowl Parade I guess, although Bills fans have no way of knowing for sure.

I was at a Hillary event in 2016.  Bill was her surrogate.  He filled the entire time.  I'd estimate 90 minutes.  He has real charisma..  It wasn't what I'd call fun.  But it was an almost must see spectacle.

Too soon (1990-1993 was like yesterday).
