I’ve been a hardcore skeptic all year.  If THIS Josh Allen shows up, with this D l, this team can beat anyone.   Very impressive game and they are no where near full strength.  If we can see a healthy Milano, Bernard, Jones, Samuel and get Von back (assuming he’s sorta the guy he was), with Keon coming on like a boss, and Cooper getting integrated.. this MAY be a team that can reach the SB.

Screen passes to Shakir are working well. When’s the last time we had a good screen game? Thurman?

I think Larry Centers had 80 receptions in 2001, which was after Thurman. 7.8 yards per catch, so yes we had a screen game [if not much else].

Shakir was awesome.  When they have run similar plays with Curtis Samuel, It usually ends up that the lineman misses a block, Samuel goes the wrong way on the block right into a defender, Samuel runs into the blocker or Samuel just falls down.

Yeah, Samuel might go down as one of the worst FA signings Beane has ever made.  The Bills seem to work better whenever he's not around.

He's got zero NFL starting LBs available to him and still managed to hide both those holes except for one drive.

Agreed, he is amazingly good at this.

But it still (along with Bass) remains my biggest concern for the playoffs.

If neither Milano or Bernard are able to play, top teams will abuse Spector/Williams. We can live with Williams next to B/M (I love Dorian and he is getting better overall even though I didn't like him today), but not with Williams/Spector combo.

I can’t believe people ever complain about McD. That was  an absolute defensive coaching clinic.

I wonder how much of it is Babich.  They seem more aggressive so far this season.

The best thing about the screen game isn't the plays that worked, it's that all the opponents now need to prepare to stop it.  The Seahawks tried to adapt, pulling attention away from the middle of the field.  And so Allen had a lot of time to pass, and Cook and Davis had holes at the first and second levels.

Quietly, this was a great game by the O line.  You rarely hear those guys mentioned unless they screw up, but this game they were being singled out for praise.  By the maybe-GOAT.

Cook's burst is genuinely elite

I was watching some footage of when Shady was here and i was just like..wow..i forgot just how shifty and quick he was on the field.

Cook today was reminding me of that.   His game has got significantly better this year.   Today was amazing.

Did Amari play much after what looked like he took a stinger?

I feel like Chan in 2011 with Fitz had a solid screen game for 5-7 weeks. I think Chan knew that he had to work around Fitz's limitations and take advantage of Stevie and Fred Jax strengths. Haven't seen this team develop a good screen game since until now. I think if this team can get Samuel healthy that could also be a weapon in the screen game.

Chan and Joe D's o-lines with Woody, Andy Levitre & Co were machines in the screen game.

Don't worry. After winning the division yet again, we will be hearing how Miami, the Jets, and the Pats will all win the division next season yet again.

I think allen was at 275 but then they pulled him.  coleman i thought came closer than he did.

those kinda stats dont matter in the scheme of things but its cool when it can happen.

Part of me was hoping they'd put Josh in for the last series after the muffed kick to just do 4 attempts to the EZ to get another TD and over 300 😛
