I thought for just a moment, maybe he slips up and mentions a certain toy being tossed on the field as well.. I would have died laughing.... Was that thrown on the field or did it just fall out of Rob Ryan's pocket? 1 Quote

Next week is a frustration game for the Dolphins who would love to derail the Bills' season. As for the defense, great game. Walker is a very good RB but I don't think he's as fast as Mostert and Achane. I haven't been tracking the Dolphins closely so I don't know what shape their O line is in. We will be in great shape next week if St Bernard is on the field. Walker can be a home run back, but the Bills just didn't give him any space to get rolling. Snuffed out a lot of runs in the backfield and did a good job bracketing him with tacklers on the screens and dumps. Rasul made a great open field tackle early too. They played him well. 1 Quote

I thought Shakir was getting more separation today than he has before. It seemed the Seahawks had their best corner trying to guard Coleman, and Cooper was getting attention, and Shakir and the two TEs were as wide open as anyone ever gets in the NFL. Today, the machine was working almost as well as it's capable of. A beautiful thing to see. 2 4 Quote

Next week is more apt to be a beat down of the Finns by the Bills rather then a Bills loss. Quote

He had no holes to run through. He showed good skills as a receiver running after the catch, but then again, as you said, the Bills didn't let him get going. Quote

He looks really good, not just for rushing and catching passes but also blocking and a great no-surrender attitude. Not that the Bills need him, but if things had worked out differently so he was on the Bills, we would absolutely love having him on the team. I have him on my fantasy team. Grabbed him because he was the highest rated back left in my draft when I needed a back. Didn’t know much about him. Dude is a baller. Quietly one of the better backs in the league. Quote

NFL football is arguably the most popular sport in the U.S. yet they keep trying to muddy it up. 1 1 Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I can’t believe people ever complain about McD. That was an absolute defensive coaching clinic. 10 Quote

Special shoutouts: - Josh Allen. Overcame offensive penalties, bad weather, and a loud Seattle crowd to have a great day. Other than the interception, he was in full command from start to finish. Looked like a field general out there. I love seeing him be able to just play in rhythm and NOT have to be a super hero most of the day, while still being willing and able to put on the cape when needed for a big play. - James Cook. I think he felt the heat of Ray Davis playing well recently. Impressive day from him running the football. - Offensive line. Absolutely MOVED people today in the run game. Wow. - Keon Coleman. To be able to win those 50/50 and jump balls and ALSO exhibit some juice after the catch? I love it. This kid is getting better every single week, and appears poised to make me and all of his other doubters look like fools. - Tight end involvement. I like how Brady involved both tight ends today. I liked seeing them used on downfield routes instead of just short stuff. Both guys played well, too. - The entire Bills defense. No single defensive lineman, linebacker, corner, or safety had an elite day. But they played incredibly well AS A UNIT, limiting a very good Seattle offense to 10 points on the road. - Coaching on both sides. I loved the defensive gameplan to send pressure at Geno and play tighter coverage. I loved the mix of run and pass on offense and the willingness to lean into putting Josh under center in the first half rather than always in shotgun. With the exception of the gross penalties (which may be more an indictment on the refs), the entire coaching staff had these guys ready to play. Fast start, kept up the intensity throughout the game, and finished strong. All on the road against a pretty good opponent in a hostile environment on a rainy day. What more can you ask for? Add to it the fact that the Dolphins, Jets, Ravens, and Bengals all lost today, and you're talking about a pretty flawless day of football for Bills fans. GO BILLS!!! Couldn’t have said it better myself. I’ve been skeptical as well. But has last two performances have not been flukes. He will continue to only get better. His blocking has been outstanding as well. Very impressive. Quote

Next week is more apt to be a beat down of the Finns by the Bills rather then a Bills loss. Hope you're right. The Bills seem to have the Dolphins' number, that's for sure. About the Seahawks. They just folded. No professional team should have turned tail like that. They went into garbage mode at the start of the fourth quarter, not even trying for big plays to get a chance to catch up. Instead they padded stats and burned the clock while on offense, moving down the field 8 yards or so at a time, which the Bills were happy to allow. And their D just lost heart. I haven't seen a Bills opponent give up like that since the Bills beat the Pats in a playoff game a few years ago, with Arctic temperatures. Micah Hyde made a brilliant interception to put the knife in, and the Bills scored TDs on every drive to twist the knife. No NFL defense should tolerate failure to that extent. The Seahawks weren't as bad as that today, but it was clear they lost heart when they got three points total after two first and goals inside the three. 1 Quote

There isn’t a team in the league who could play at this level with Dorian Williams, Spector, Hamlin, and rapp on the back end. i swear that they knew the Seahawks plays before the snap almost all day. 1 1 Quote
ToGoGo Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Not a lot of Allen discussion. Another MVP level performance. Making more amazing intermediate and long distance throws and dimes than we’ve seen in years. Allen is currently playing at a top tier HOF QB level. Favre-like but less dangerous throws and turnovers. 4 Quote

When they have run similar plays with Curtis Samuel, It usually ends up that the lineman misses a block, Samuel goes the wrong way on the block right into a defender, Samuel runs into the blocker or Samuel just falls down.
