For some reason I thought he was a smaller guy, but he looked huge out there...and isn't he supposed to have great speed?

He's listed at 6'1" with a blazing 40; great size/speed ration.

Must not be a great route runner or something.

His blocking may have been the thing that impressed me the most when looking at his college video. Blocks until the whistle and blocks even if the play is on the other side of the field 30 yards away. He’s gonna frustrate a lot of DBs in his career.

You can tell he absolutely freaking loves it.

My prediction that he'll have a "Not to be ****** with" sign hanging off him by next year stands.

Was at the game. Coleman was impossible to miss. He looks really really good out there. Bigger impact on the game today than stats suggest (5 for 70 and a TD).

Shakir is essential to this offensive scheme. What a player.

Keon is ascending rapidly.  Beating Woolen like that and Keon's blocking that went onto the bench was really impressive

I don’t like to get ahead of things, but I love what he offers and it just seems to get better every week. The “almost catch” last week and the TD yesterday are the kind of things not every WR offers. He’s fun to watch and he has an unusual skillset.

He also has a frame that looks like it will easily accommodate the weight program they'll have for him in the offseason and I bet he adds a lot of strength to his already great lean/leverage/balance. He'll become a real handful if we are just seeing the foundation being set.

I'll also go on record saying I will happily take that flag for blocking the opponent all the way into the bench, every time.

We don’t want to do anything that would slow him down at all, because, well…….ya know.  😊

I hope one day Keon is mentioned in the same sentence with Jerry Rice when people point out that the 40 time ain’t everything.

I will now go back to trying to temper my enthusiasm.

you have a good memory

I did have to look it up, but remembered we had a crazy good week last year at one point.  It still confuses me how we went from 6-6 and 10th to the 2 seed.  Like in my head i said it could happen but wasnt really sure it truely could.  After Miami blew it to the titans i did know the division was comically open.  i say comically cause i had a maniacal laugh for the rest of the season.

I'll go on record saying I will take it for an over-enthusiastic rookie but will not take it every time.  I don't want to watch "Forrest Gump 2".

Sorry if this was mentioned before, but I was just thinking about Allen making the tackle on his INT.

He saved us 7 points.

Defense stuffed Seattle.

QBs get mad when their streaks of passes sans interceptions get broken

Some of us fossils remember Jim Kelly's long streak without interceptions when it was broken.

He threw the interception to the Atlanta Falcons corner Anthony Phillips. Kelly was upset and took his anger out on Phillips.

The tackle from Jimbo resulted in a cleanly broken leg for Phillips that dangled in a gruesome way while he was trying to run on it and then as he fell to the ground.

They replayed it over and over in slow motion in a way I am not sure the league would do again.

I was at the game. Tons of fun and lots of opportunities for Chris Brownism’s on the radio broadcast. Any highlights?

He re-used his lame phrase again... "The cook has entered the kitchen"  after Cook's TD

You must be talking about this play.  It starts at the 1:57 mark.

This has to be the funniest victory speech by McD. He just goes on and on, thanking all the staffers, even the IT department!

I noticed this as well. I really like his “stay humble” approach.

Some teams, e.g Miami, get crowned (and crown themselves) after rattling off a string of impressive wins and putting up great stats.

But the Super Bowl isn’t played in the regular season. McDermott knows that 31 teams ultimately go home disappointed.

Go ahead and give the game ball to the equipment managers. Gratitude is a great attitude.
