playing with playoff machine...

the Bills beat the dolphins and the dolphins win out after that the Bills still win the East even if the Bills lose to KC, Detroit, San Fran, and ???

Fins have Texans, Packers, Niners and stingy Browns Def. to remain.

Fins have a better chance to lose out than win out

Sorry if this was mentioned before, but I was just thinking about Allen making the tackle on his INT.

He saved us 7 points.

Defense stuffed Seattle.

Technically the center saved the day twice at the goalline which prevented the Bills from having to make 2 extra plays 😂

I think the dline had as large an impact.  The penetration on the goal line was impressive. Almost every interior lineman was knocked back.  If Smith gets the ball out of his hands I don't like the odds of it being successful.

But I heard it was the heart of town!

Btw I loved “Help on the Way” being played to transition to the commercial break in what I assume was a tribute to the recently passed Phil Lesh. RIP.

Rooting for an AFC team we don't get as many Fox broadcasts, but there is somebody over at that network that's managed to get control of their bumper music and who reallllly knows what they're doing. I have heard some absolutely spectacular selections while casually watching NFC games.

Even yesterday was a good example. Some schmoe might have just picked Touch of Grey as a nice little tribute, but that guy knew that not only was Help/Slip was a perfect choice, but he knew to pick that transitional section where Phil stands out doing a sort of call/response game with the band.

Absolutely brilliant and the perfect choice; couldn't have done it better myself.

Not sure about the airmailed snap but the one where the Center tripped Geno was probably going to the 5 hole and was probably going to score, imo.

It wasn't a sure thing by any means but it looked to me like the hole was going to just be available enough to get the yard.

this makes me remember how bad Brady was....wtf was brady talking about most of the game? something about Jim Kelly buys him booze every time he comes to Buffalo? and how Ed Oliver said hi? and how he finally likes Bills mafia? and he doesn't like penalties now?

he's the most boring commentator ever. i'm glad he was good at football because i'm not sure he'd have been cut out for much else

He's a smarmy bag of johnsons and I don't think I registered three things that came out of his creepy mouth yesterday.

Saturday night we had a sort of closing ceremonies party out our camp on the river before closing up for the winter. After midnight when most everybody had headed off for bed I took off the jumpin' party music and put on that "Eyes" with Branford Marsalis and just sat by the fire with a nightcap soaking it up. Damn, did Phil do great work in that.  Genuinely skilled leads on a rhythm instrument; just beautiful stuff all around. 🥲

That's great. My band had a gig Friday night and we threw in a Tom Thumb Blues and a Box of Rain into the set. Went over quite well!

I couldn't find any info on this..   Who was #89 yesterday?   Couldn't see his name but saw him on the field a few plays.

That was Jalen Virgil, the WR they brought up from the practice squad to fill in for Samuel.

Can't remember a week where everything fell our way around the league like it did today.

Week 14 last year was pretty good.  We were 6-6 and 10th place in conference.  We got losses from number 1 miami (against titans lolololol), number 3 KC (by our hand), number 4 Jags (by the number 7 team), Number 5 Steelers (by the Pats!), Number 6 Colts, Number 8 Texans (by the Jets!).  Only teams ahead of us that didnt lose were the Number 2 Ravens, Number 7 Browns (who more importantly took care of the Number 4 Jags), and Number 9 Broncos.  That was a lot going our way that day.  All had to probably happen to get 2 seed.

Was at the game. Coleman was impossible to miss. He looks really really good out there. Bigger impact on the game today than stats suggest (5 for 70 and a TD).

Shakir is essential to this offensive scheme. What a player.

Keon is ascending rapidly.  Beating Woolen like that and Keon's blocking that went onto the bench was really impressive

Something a bit lost in the general euphoria of the win was the great run defense.  Kenneth Walker is a stud and they shut him down.  Not sure why it was so good but it’s a great sign going forward if we can keep it up.

The Seattle OL and run schemes (due to their OC) are complete trash.

For some reason I thought he was a smaller guy, but he looked huge out there...and isn't he supposed to have great speed?

His blocking may have been the thing that impressed me the most when looking at his college video. Blocks until the whistle and blocks even if the play is on the other side of the field 30 yards away. He’s gonna frustrate a lot of DBs in his career.
