Imagine it was when your QB is stood at his own goalline your playbook shrinks even compared to him standing at the 5. I'd have declined it as well FWIW but I did think about it. You are forcing something quick. Allows you to commit more men.

That makes sense for most teams, but the Bills play a T2 that sits back and gives cushion.

 

For us, it makes no sense to push them back instead of taking 2nd and 10.
