Bills!Win! Posted October 26 Posted October 26 We are winning the Super Bowl this year. Tre White is the only player I would feel bad for when we host the Lombardi. Get him back 2 Quote

Get him back I wouldn't be shocked if the long rumored Elam for a bag of balls trade happens and a released White gets picked up by the Bills to fill the roster spot but White sure has looked cooked. billsherd Posted October 26 Posted October 26 If cut maybe we try him at safety as he knows the defense. 1 4 1 Quote

I would be on board with stashing him on the practice squad. In addition to being a mentor, he could take a few weeks to recover and possibly be available and in better form later in the season. Doc Brown Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Yeah. He's cooked. They don't want him to meet the 60% snap percentage and pay him an extra five million. I loved Tre but I wouldn't even sign him to the practice squad. Quote

Augie Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Tre is not known for his rapid healing. He’ll be 30 next year, and he’s already made close to $100 Mil. If he’s a FA and willing to sign cheap, I’d see what he looks like next season. I wonder how much of his slow recovery from the ACL was physical vs mental, and it the Achilles might be a similar recovery path. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I posted a couple years ago that they should transition White to S after the knee injury. The good counter argument is that White was never a good tackler. Sad to say but his career is now likely over. 2 Quote

Dillenger4 Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Brr ha ha ha - he's toast now and always was a light player to begin with. HARD and easy pass. Not a chance in hell Quote
Mr. WEO Posted October 26 Posted October 26 (edited) one of the worst Defenses in the NFL can't find work for a "healthy" old, completely banged up Tre White???!!! Beane pulling that 1 year contract from his secret stash.... 1 hour ago, Bills!Win! said: We are winning the Super Bowl this year. BearNorth Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Interestingly through week 7 PFF has the #8 cornerback in the league as non other than the much maligned Levi Wallace. Only 14 cornerbacks on rosters over age 30. two; of these, Ramsey and Wallace grade out in the top 10. Top graded cornerback in the league [tho with limited snap count] is our own Kaiir Elam. 1 2 Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Amazing how the guy is still trying to come back from an injury, but he's done, washed. Maybe y'all are right, but I'm still a big Tre' fan. 1 Quote
Billzgobowlin Posted October 26 Posted October 26 With the way that we have been worried about losing people like Poyer, him and Morse seems like they don't provide much value anymore. Quote
Don Otreply Posted October 26 Posted October 26 His playing days are all but over, on the bright side, he is sitting on a bunch of money, time for him to buy a metal detector and spend some time at his beach house…, 2 Quote
