PoundingDog
Looks like a 34 year guy in NFL that has maturity. I think his advise for Bryce Young is what we'll see on Sunday: no regrets and just letting the ball fly. We'll see how McDermott's defense can confuse him with Bills' signature late disguised coverages, which can lead to turnovers. The prerequiste is of course stopping Walker cold to force them to go to the air. Seattle is leading the league in passing attempts, but there is speculation that with DK's injury, they may lean into the ground attack more. Â I also thought his take on NY Jets experience is interesting. Media pressure is A thing, even though many, including me, would not think it is really a big deal. Geno, Sam Darnold might be victim of that and proved it somewhere else in some capacity. Where is Zach Wilson these days? Maybe someone can give him a shot. I can almost guarantee that had Trvor Lawrence drafted by the Jets, he would have wilted and be gone by now as well. Â Â 2
Nephilim17
Great interview. Geno's a classy and grounded guy. When we don't play them I will root for him. 4
T master
Here's a question that inquiring minds want to know . Given Geno's turn around so late in his career what is EJ Manuel thinking & did he retire to quickly ?  Could there be a come back in EJ's future ?? 🤔

Maybe someone can give him a shot.   He is a backup QB in Denver and supposedly with number of injuries of QBs is available for trade.  The NJ teams have gone far from the days when QBs would force teams to trade them to those teams. If I was a QB getting out of college and high on potential draft I would not want to play for those teams and would stay another year if I could. Retired players must consider unretiring with amount even backup QBs get paid.

Sojourner
if you remove the rushing yards, it’s weird how his, EJ Manuel’s, rookie year and Josh’s look to be a similar QB.  Haven’t done a dive into Josh’s earlier stats since the other thread that’s going on but man I always forget how brutal the passing stats were lol  First, let us all be thankful Josh completely committed to getting better. That’s a hard task in itself at any sport or task in life.  Secondly, I wonder if Josh wasn’t as successful with his legs those first 2 years would they have looked at a different avenue?   Big prayers to the patron saint of drought ending.    Edited Saturday at 03:53 PM by Sojourner To clarify, EJ Manuel. Not Geno.

I think after his stint with the Bills he was pretty beat up they didn't handle his opportunity well at all i think that had a lot to do with him not working out in the NFL . Another Fan
Good for Geno..... Â prior my memory of him was the November 2013 Bills/Jets game. Â Which speaking of E.J that was probably the best game of his career. Â And Geno was brutal that day. Â Â Â How things work out over the long run....
