Knox at TE wouldn't necessarily have to use his hands in as much of a physical manner as that of a DT, who pretty much is in a man to man battle on every play with big guys in the middle. Not sure about that as Knox is required to both block and catch passes. Hard to do both with a broken wrist. It's pry a wash. 1 hour ago, Bockeye said: Best Defensive Line Free Agents, 2024: Hassaan Ridgeway Bryan Mone Al Woods Tyson Alualu Daviyon Nixon Albert Huggins Mike Purcell Nick Williams Trysten Hill Matt Dickerson Viliami Fehoko Quote
VW82 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 (edited) This goes back to my complaint over the summer that we really only had four NFL-quality DT on the roster for camp. No one wanted to hear about that because receiver, receiver, receiver,...but here we are with only three left for the toughest part of our schedule. I guess the idea is Smoot or Rousseau will be playing inside on 3rd downs?? Edited October 25 by VW82 Quote

Success Posted October 25 Posted October 25 We're getting hit w/ injuries - but at least nothing season-ending so far. The key for us is finally getting to the playoffs in relatively good shape. 1 Quote

I'd doubt he'd be called upon for that role. I'd assume it's Branson Deen. Edited October 26 by BillsFanForever19 Quote
