Alphadawg7 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 (edited) Wishing Carter a speedy recovery and hopefully he can get back soon enough and keep developing more ahead of the playoffs. I have really liked what he has been giving us and hopefully its only a few weeks to get more time to get ready ahead of the playoffs. Edited October 25 by Alphadawg7 1 18 1 3 3 Quote

Hopefully he is back sooner rather than later. I'd rather lose him now than later. Yet is a shame as he was developing nicely. 6 1 3 Quote
Sojourner Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Damn. That sucks. Houston and Tennessee games he looked like a bright spot moving forward. 5 1 Quote
SCBills Posted October 25 Posted October 25 He was arguably our best DT in recent weeks… At least it’s not long term. Just be healthy for the playoffs for once and we can handle the nonstop 2-4 week injuries this team keeps getting. 3 5 Quote
Roundybout Posted October 25 Posted October 25 (edited) Sucks. Guy is an absolute bright spot, he seems to be a real brawler on the interior line. Id guess he has a little fracture that required a clean out surgery. Edited October 25 by Roundybout 3 Quote

They have Oliver, Jones, Johnson and will likely rotate in Logue as DT4. Kick in Smoot on pass downs etc.. Im all for trading for a DT though, but not because of this news. 2 Quote

I do like the idea of Smoot inside on passing downs 1 Quote

With many still critiquing Beane about the use of the 3rd round pick. Silver lining is that it doesn't seem to be season ending, possibly even less than 4 weeks. Another year of defensive injuries, across the board (and Von suspension). Good news Von is back next week and we can slide Smoot back to 3T more often. Also sounds like Matt Milano recovery might be going well. Quote
ScotSHO Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I wouldn't say he's better than Oliver today, but to me he's shown better flashes than Oliver did in his first year. Hopefully we see him on the field with a club at the end of December. 2 Quote
Nephilim17 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 I'm reading on one site that wrist surgery recovery takes about 8 to 10 weeks... another site said 4 to 12... Bummer that he misses KC in season but hope he's good for the playoffs. Quote

I mean I didn't even know Ed dressed last week until mid 3rd quarter they showed him in uniform on the field. 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Hope Zion Logue will make a career for himself with the opportunity! Ankou or Deen getting a PS call up? Quote

Goin Breakdown Posted October 25 Posted October 25 (edited) We should have a get well thread that just stays active throughout the season. It's a revolving door on this defense. Edited October 25 by Goin Breakdown Quote

Thanks for the optimism. Knox had wrist surgery in late October and returned to practice in early December. Hopefully that timeline will happen for Carter. Quote
HansLanda Posted October 25 Posted October 25 This is probably why he was "catching a pass" with his left, and also throwing with his left. right wrist heavily wrapped at the time.... 1 Quote
