Is that a catch?

They snapped it too quick before the video review could pick it apart.

Question for the rules experts:

If a receiver catches the ball, has possession and gets one foot down inbounds (touches the field) and the second foot comes down on an object on the field, like say, a Billdo, or perhaps the top of the first foot while it's still touching the ground, then is it a catch?

I believe that is is, but have just a bit of nagging doubt.

Stafford throwing such nice catchable balls.  And can still fire lasers when he needs to.

A legendary arm. The forgotten first-ballot HOF QB.
