I am a huge dog lover, but there is no need for a dog (unless TRUE service animal) to be on an airplane. It really needs to stop.

It depends on the dog.

If it's a jerk dog, then I agree.

But I've known plenty of dogs that would be better behaved and preferable to fly with than many people.

Then the airline should not have sold ticket for the dog.

Didn't even know they charged for this, I just assumed treated as luggage with carrier under the seat.

Even if the dog is well behaved, they don't belong on a plane.

I cringe a bit when I see someone with a dog waiting to get on the flight.

That said, a few occasions have had a small dog very near, but not next to me, they were fine.

As mentioned, have had many people I wished were muzzled and caged.

How about a horse? I've seen a horse on a plane. An emotional support pony.

My question would be, what if I ALSO have diagnosed anxiety that is driven by intense PTSD over a dg attack when I was a child?  Whose malady trumps the other?

Or lets says I were allergic to dogs and it would trigger a potentially fatal asthma attack to sit in a confined space with one?

Well, I’d rather have a dog than snakes, but I think that only happens in cinematic classics.
