With that being said, as it relates to this thread, as noted above if there is a video as people keep claiming, let's see it. Otherwise this is no different than an unsubstantiated trade rumor on the Stadium Wall. As far as the vocabulary lesson goes, I don't believe that dim is any more or less common than dull.
