Only once in the last 26 years has the leading rusher in the NFL even made it to the SuperBowl and that was last year with McCaffrey.

You have to go back to 1998 when the NFL leading rusher won the SuperBowl - Terrell Davis and the Broncos

So no, I have no second thoughts.  If you have a QB, you draft RBs and use them while they are young and then draft another one when you need to.

I see it a little differently. It’s not about having the leading rusher.   It’s about making the offense as close to indefensible as possible.   Imagine if we were strong at running both inside with power and outside with speed and elusiveness.   But we also excelled at throwing to the perimeter or across the middle, short, medium, and long.    That might not be realistic but it’s the ideal you chase.   Make the defense feel hopeless trying to defend every blade of grass.   King Henry would get us closer to that ideal.

No i’m happy with our RB room, a team like Dallas absolutely should have signed him.

If i could go back in time i’d draft Henry with my 2nd overall pick in Fantasy football 😆

We didn't pay hardly anything for Amari Cooper aside from a draft pick...

Beane is a very good GM, but players like Hines and Samuel... niche players that our revolving door of OC's want, yet we don't seem to know how to use is a valid criticism of the FO.

Which great WR would you would have signed, instead of Samuel?  Beane had cap constraints and a weak WR market.    I liked the signing then.  Samuel is a much more complete player than Hynes, and has been productive in college and the NFL.  Turf toe is no joke, and I believe it’s holding Curtis back.    It’s a long season, and I predict Samuel is quite useful by the end of season

Some of you guys need to let some of these misses go.  Every GM has misses.

To answer the question, no, I don't want Derrick Henry.  If we had signed Henry, we probably wouldn't have had the money to trade for Amari Cooper.

Royale, You’re most salient point was basically stating do you want a 30 yr. Old RB who is doing well, vs. a 7 times 1000+ yard seasons and 5 pro bowls.  In addition, we have a decent RB room and we desperately needed a top flight WR.  I’ll take that choice all day long.
