Considering most preseason writers felt this was going to be an off year Allen might get a serious shot if we get a top 2 seed in Conference and McDermott might be in COY discussion along with Dan Campbell and Kevin O'Connell. Purdy also had that 5 INT game against the Ravens which completely killed any MVP chance he had, and that’s the game that vaulted Lamar to the front runner position. There’s still a lot of season left for Lamar to have a huge clunker or two, and someone else like Josh to take the lead. Quote

Lamar is playing lights out and running away with it. The antithesis of last year. Lamar/Baltimore would need to hit the skids and Josh would have to crank up the production. I just don't see it. Two things If Josh really cares about the regular season MVP then he needs to play big against the big boys in the next four weeks If Josh cares about winning the SB, he really cares about the 1 showing up on the Win column Quote
GoBillsForeverAndAlways Posted Thursday at 02:02 AM Posted Thursday at 02:02 AM I could definitely see Josh getting it this year. I think the next 4 games will be very telling, let's see what happens. Could definitely happen! 1 Quote
zow2 Posted Thursday at 02:08 AM Posted Thursday at 02:08 AM I wouldn’t rule out Mahomes. He’s been more productive lately and if he puts up numbers vs Bills and down the stretch, gets the #1 seed, i can see them awarding him. Quote

DJB Posted Sunday at 09:23 PM Posted Sunday at 09:23 PM I’m sorry but you don’t win an MVP when you aren’t even leading your division Lamar is no longer leading the vote now Quote
DapperCam Posted Sunday at 09:25 PM Posted Sunday at 09:25 PM Lions did everything they could to padd Goff's stats today. Jeez Louise. Any sane team would have sat him halfway through the third. Quote

Of course it depends on how you define MVP, but how do you not consider Daniels in the conversation. He’s completely turned that franchise around. 1 Quote

Process Posted yesterday at 12:45 AM Posted yesterday at 12:45 AM After the int in the first half it wasn't looking good for Josh's MVP run. The play at the end changes everything. That was his MVP moment. 1 Quote

I think to this point Daniels IS the MVP, that team was hot garbage without him and a legit contender with it, but he’ll win OROY and not get the MVP this year. The media loves Lamar, so any excuse for him to be in the race on the back side of this year will be used. Mahomes numbers say he doesn’t really have a case, but the record is there and Josh is back to throwing picks, so he’s probably going to have that thrown in his face. If the Bills some how pull the 1 seed, it will give JA a shot. Otherwise, I’m assuming KC will get it and in that case, gotta think Mahomes gets MVP, he’s working with very little and still winning, even if the numbers are pedestrian. Goff should be in the mix, but I don’t know if anyone really believes the success is not in spite of him and actually because of him. Quote

In all seriousness, Lamar is having an outstanding season. I don’t think Allen has much of a shot. His name is Jackson. Why does he get first name status? That is bs. Even Mahomes doesn't get that. Jackson is a good player, but he ain't no Lebron. Quote
Reks Ryan Posted yesterday at 12:59 AM Posted yesterday at 12:59 AM 4th down run with the whole country watching. That was Allen’s Heisman Moment. He’s winning MVP 2 Quote
Sabres 2025 Posted yesterday at 01:00 AM Posted yesterday at 01:00 AM Why do people even care about the MVP. If you don't win a Super Bowl it is just a consolation prize. 1 1 1 Quote
