Still can't believe they took a RB instead of Allen in the 2018 draft.  Thanks Gettleman.

Who now plays for their biggest rival.

Daniel Jones should sign with KC next year and spend the next 10 years backing up Patrick Mahomes. Thats what I would do in his shoes.

I would take the $120m or so you fleeced the Giants for and find beach front property to enjoy the rest of my days.

Seriously. When Josh is done and we put him up on the Wall of Fame, we should also do the same for Gettleman for gifting us our franchise QB (when the Giants also needed one).

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good and after the drought, the Bills were due. It really came up aces the whole way that draft went down (Giants taking a RB, Broncos passing on Allen when they were also looking for their next QB, etc...)

Passing on Mahomes the year before was yikes (with hindsight) but we still ended up with Allen...

I was dumbfounded by Gettleman's explanation that he passed on a quarterback because he still thought a 37 year old Eli Manning had a few good years left.  His decline was obvious at that point and he was never that great to begin with.

Not a stretch here. They have the #1 pick in the draft and have been saying they were giving D Jones this year on things like hard knocks.

The real question is are schoen and Daboll dead men walking or are they gonna get a chance to pick and develop the next guy

He was good in the playoffs and helped take down the evil empire twice on the biggest stage. I don't think he is HOF worthy, but he was a good QB. IMHO

Football is life though.

Play Madden or catch with your kids.  He's been hit enough in his career.  LOL.

Josh will be getting a statue out front along with his number on the wall.

Nick Foles did once too.  Eli's last few seasons were rough.

I can see Daniel Jones taking over from Mitch Trubisky as the backup QB here in 2026…. He seems to have the attributes they value in a backup looking at the previous guys that have filled the role

If they were forced to keep jones is the big question?
