Agreed there.  I think the Bills shared your hope, that his knowledge of the game would improve and develop into an instinct that would let him shine.

Nope.

Point was, while I have sky-high hopes for Bishop, I think Rapp/Hamlin/Johnson is a significant step up from Bishop/Hamlin/Lewis right now

did you mean that the other way around? rapp/hamlin and bishop are a step up from rapp/hamlin/johnson?  or did you mean edwards?

No, I meant what I said:  Rapp/Hamlin/Johnson is a significant step up from Bishop/Hamlin/Lewis right now.

We hope that eventually, we see Rapp/Bishop/Johnson but that isn't where we are.

I think they'll sit Bernard this week in the matchup against the NFC opponent on the road, in order to rest his ankle for the big divisional home game the following week.

I know that we all say "every game matters", and of course that's true to some degree. But it's indisputable that games against NFC opponents matter less than against AFC opponents.

I remember that sequence very well. Stunned how they didn’t call the fifteen yard penalty as teams could easily deploy that strategy. Just go knock out the kicker with zero consequences to ensure a win if a situation played out like that in the 4th qtr!

Seahawks play dirty.  I hope I guys will be ready for it.

What does the McGovern quote say about Jimbo??

They are different style runners with different physical attributes - I don't expect Cook to slam into defenders and muscle his way through them.  So I think McGovern's quote is a nothing burger.  Plus it's OK to pay someone a compliment without any ulterior motive or implications for others.

This is just such an interesting game to me. The Seahawks have always been a different team at home than they are on the road. But potentially no Metcalf or at least a hobbled Metcalf is a big deal especially with our outside corners. Geno Smith isn't bad but he's not a guy who goes and beats you. The run game is very strong. The defense is inconsistent but generally a little leaky. The Bills have several injuries although all the key players may be able to suit up. I think Bernard is the key. Taking on Kenneth Walker with Spector in the game doesn't sound appealing.

I don't think we can afford a super slow start again. Having Cooper with another week under his belt is a big benefit too. Again, not just that he is more up to speed but pushing Shakir, Coleman, etc down in the depth chart in terms of defensive matchups is just huge. I also think Ray Davis is going to be a big factor

The Seahawks haven't been good at home this year.

Yeah, that sequence was completely botched by the refs and everyone involved. It should have been two flags, one for Offside and another for roughing the kicker or unnecessary roughness. The delay of game penalty, however, was inexcusable by Buffalo.

What a mess that was.

Worse.  Chris Brown screaming "The Stallion has gone Tasmanian" every time he gains three yards.

I think if he goes with “the Kentucky stallion !” I’ll prob like it. Especially if he runs off a sick run like he had in his td last seek.
