Not clear yet.

Milano was really healthy before the recent breaks. Bernard we'll see. He is a bit undersized.

Love Matt but he has *never* the definition of “really healthy” lol.

In fact, he has never played a full season in his entire career.

Edit: He has actually played 1 full season (out of 7).

Is this a game where they bring up Cine, and play a lot of "Big Nickel" or even Dime, since it's likely we won't have to deal with Megatron II in Metcalf.

That would really be strange considering Cine is on the PS and Mike Edwards is on the roster

We also have veteran Safety Kareem Jackson on the PS....which I had forgotten about

IF IF IF we have Bernard & Milano healthy in January and playing at the level they are capable....we have a chance against Baltimore and KC

Bernard alone is enough.

not strange at all, since Cine has been cross training at LB with the Bills. He's a bigger safety at 6'2", 200+ lbs

The next time he sees the field can be in a Bills uniform

DK & Cooper outside.  Coleman & Shakir inside

Oh my goodness that would be fun

Yeah I don’t really care what they would have to do to make it happen, i’m okay with it.

I would give up a first round pick right now if it meant that Seattle would eat some of his cap and sent him to Buffalo. Incredible pass catcher and a monster run blocker.

Can we just appreciate how great it feels to go into almost every single Sunday expecting to win?

For the young 'uns - it was not always this way.  For too long.

It’s unfortunate about Benford.  He just can’t stay healthy.  It’s becoming a consistent pattern

Well that’s what you get with this coach’s system  prevent / read and react - and small “fast “ guys -  take so much extra punishment bc they just take and absorb these ball carriers and pass catchers.

I know Bernard is a very good player and an important piece, but LB is a position you can get by with for a game or two, especially against an average offense. There's no part of me that worries Seattle is going to march up and down the field just because Spector is out there. We have our CBs, we have our entire starting DL. It is up to the coaches to not let Kenneth Walker take over the game. Force Geno Smith to move the ball throwing to Jake Bobo and an over-the-hill Tyler Lockett. Rousseau needs to abuse their 4th string(!) RT. That game plan is going to be the same whether it's Fred Warner or AJ Klein out there.

It’s not about kenneth walker taking over the game as I am with Spector in coverage..  Geno is a demon over the middle of the field and that’s where Spector and Williams will be in coverage.  Neither have been good in coverage and that’s where geno excels.

although I am worried about walker in the pass game.  We havent been able to cover  RBs in the pass game very well-  and now it’ll be Spector in coverage vs walker at times.

Put bernard out there vs KC in the playoffs and I think we win that game.  He’s a very good player.  His replacements are not.

For all the concern about Bernard’s durability… let’s just be clear, his ankle injury happened when his foot go stepped on by a large human being and it twisted his ankle.   It’s the type of injury that could happen to anyone of any size, regardless of training or conditioning.

I have never been more irate than I was watching this play live in Seattle's stadium.

It was a horseshit play be the Seahawks, and the way the refs dealt with it was infuriatingly bad.

It also had a direct impact on the outcome of the game and, worse yet, Dan Carpenter was basically never the same after this play. It sort of ruined his career.

It still makes me mad to watch and to think about.

Tell me about it! I've lived in Seattle since 1999 and I'll be wearing my Bills Stephen Hauschka jersey to troll hawks fans like I do on "Blue Fridays" at the office.

I hate Sherman to this day and would love to take a shot at his knee. Glad we took their kicker away from them, was appropriate consequence for ruining ours.

this is a great post ..... I see too many posters here speak in generalities about various players who are "injury prone" or "can't stay healthy", or somehow blaming the Bills' S&C staff, while ignoring these guys are playing a violent sport.

These generalities are myopic and not insightful at all

A few minutes before reading this, I was struggling trying to think of the last time I went into a game expecting to lose.

I know-  that’s why I wrote the 2nd paragraph.  My point being- Spector in coverage is a terrible site and it could be a major problem if seattle identifies him as problem and exploits him.  If I’m Seattle, that’s what I would do

I’m really starting to wonder if this is true.  He’s small for the position and you can’t have your MLB be injured this often.
