Then they found their own way. what is true is that Mother Love Bone and Soundgarden were tight because Chris and Andy were roomates and across the street lived shawn smith who went on to form Brad with Stone and made a whole bunch of great records. It is beyond painful that none of these three great songwriters/singers are alive. Also I always viewed it as the Big Five because I include The Screaming Trees in the conversation. Plus Tad made two great records in that moment in time. anyway Go Bills. Could not agree more about the Screaming Trees. Sweet Oblivion and Dust are essential listening! Frankly, that's likely what we could've expected if those guys were healthy and active, too. The Seahawks will get their yards. It'll be critical to limit them to field goals and to get off to a fast start on offense, rather than spotting them 10-14 points before we "wake up", as we have done multiple times this year. On OBL today, they were discussing that Baylon Spector is actually strongter versus the run than Bernard.

You must also look at who the replacement is….and Bernard’s replacement sucks 1 hour ago, Cash said: I mostly agree with your sentiment here, but our MLB who is the green dot player and team captain is a premium position. We've seen a major difference between him and Spector so far this year, particularly when it comes to defensive alignments/pre-snap recognition, as well as post-snap recognition/falling for misdirection. I like what I've seen of Carter so far, but our backup 3-tech is hardly at the same level. I know Bernard is a very good player and an important piece, but LB is a position you can get by with for a game or two, especially against an average offense. There's no part of me that worries Seattle is going to march up and down the field just because Spector is out there. We have our CBs, we have our entire starting DL. It is up to the coaches to not let Kenneth Walker take over the game. Force Geno Smith to move the ball throwing to Jake Bobo and an over-the-hill Tyler Lockett. Rousseau needs to abuse their 4th string(!) RT. That game plan is going to be the same whether it's Fred Warner or AJ Klein out there.

Maybe they meant (and I misunderstood) that Spector is stronger against the run, than against the pass, and therefore the dropoff in that area is not as significant when Spector replaces Bernard. Still missing Von for another week, although you may not consider him a "starter". I'm uncomfortable just because I still remember what Baltimore did to Williams/Spector/Hamlin/Lewis and we couldn't do a thing about it. 1

Baltimore's rush offense is more than doubling Seattle's in YPG. 6.2 YPC vs 4.5 YPC. Baltimore has a historically elite rushing offense. The rankings I found only goes back to 2003, but no other offense in that time frame has really come close to 6.2 YPC. Seattle on the other hand has an average rush offense. So I don't see the comparison. Without Metcalf out there we should be loading the box and daring them to throw outside. If an average run offense is able to impose their will on us when we barely have to respect the pass, we have much larger problems than a backup MLB. I'm not saying Geno will light us up but we won't be shutting them down either with all these D players out.
